AIA Project of the Month: A look back at some of 2004's standouts

Now in its 14th year, the AIA/DJC Project of the Month feature gives local design projects a second look. Most are commercial, institutional and multi-family projects that are one or two years old.

"Value" in construction is too often limited to a combination of cost-per-square-foot and stylistic formulas for various building types and locations. The AIA/DJC Project of the Month program stretches the equation to include new ways of thinking about building types — from tenant improvements to new institutions to movable structures.
