Malpractice lawsuits happen all the time.
Doctors, for example, get sued for making a wrong diagnosis. Attorneys get sued for poorly representing a client. And other so-called “professionals,” including accountants, architects, engineers and surveyors, likewise get sued for rendering botched services.
