Maud Daudon has joined the investment banking practice at Seattle-Northwest Securities. Daudon is the former chief of staff and deputy mayor to Paul Schell. She also served previously as chief financial officer for the Port of Seattle. Seattle-Northwest Securities is an investment banking firm that underwrites and trades bonds on behalf of municipalities, agencies and institutions, with offices in Seattle, Portland, Boise and Salt Lake City.
Merwin Creative named Michael W. Murray director of finance and operations, and Jeanne Gransee Barker as a print and multimedia project manager. Murray joined Merwin Creative two years ago and was instrumental in the sale of the company to the private investment and business management company Trimac Media Resources. Barker previously held graphic design and account management positions with several design firms including Seattle’s Methodologie. Founded in 1983, Merwin Creative is a full-service, business-to-business integrated marketing company.
Sharon L. McAffee, vice president of the commercial insurance division of Bratrud Middleton Insurance of Bremerton, has been named president of the Professional Insurance Agents of Washington and Alaska. McAffee has been with Bratrud Middleton since 1999 when it merged with Hayward Insurance Agency. McAffee will chairs the organization's board and oversee major programs and strategies of the 220-member association.
The Puget Sound Chapter of the American Marketing Association elected Diane Giese president of its board of directors. Giese, currently the marketing manager at Strategy Software, succeeds past president Cynthia Baker. As the seventh largest AMA chapter in the world, the Puget Sound chapter serves more than 550 members. Also chosen to serve on the board were: Janelle Gibson, Tina Roberts of Larry’s Markets, Jan Buttle of GA Design, Kristin Knight of Creative Assets, Laura Biggers of Bastyr University, Lissa Dashe of MarketSmart, Amy Frampton of Recharge and Jennifer Savino of Parker LePla.
Dean Sanders has joined Pet's Choice as a neurology and neurosurgery specialist. Sanders practice is located at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Lynnwood. Pet's Choice is a network of veterinary hospitals and specialists based in Bellevue.

EDS appointed Tom Ament and Kent Baril to key sales positions in the Northwest. Formerly vice president of alliances at EDS, Ament will serve as vice president of sales for the Northwest region from the company's Seattle office. Ament is a 16-year employee of the company. Baril joined EDS in Seattle as a director of sales. He most recently served as general manager of TouchAmerica Telecommunications in Seattle.
Peter Nagy joined Acordia as property and casualty marketing director for the Northwest. With 25 years of insurance industry experience, Nagy is an associate with the Insurance Institute of Canada, an equivalent to the American CPCU designation. Acordia is an insurance brokerage firm and a subsidiary of Wells Fargo.
The Fearey Group, a Seattle-based, independent public relations firm, named Kevin Bush vice president. Bush most recently served as public relations manager for Philips Oral Healthcare. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and served as the group's Puget Sound chapter president in 1999.
Michelle Menely joined the Seattle office of Bullivant Houser Bailey in the litigation practice group. A 1998 Seattle University School of Law graduate, Menely spent the last five years as a litigation associate with Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, Malanca, Peterson & Daheim in Seattle.
Routh Crabtree Fennell named former director of operations Julie A. Ridding as firm administrator. Prior to joining Routh, Ridding served as president of Strategic Marketing in Bothell. Routh Crabtree Fennell is a mortgage banking law firm, based in the Northwest.
