Andrew W. Maron has been elected managing partner of the Seattle law firm of Short Cressman & Burgess. Maron is chair of the Construction Law Group. Chris A. Pothering was promoted to partner. Pothering will serve as co-chair of the Business and Tax Law Group. Robert S. Klein, was named partner and co-chair of the Business and Tax Law Group.
Perlego Systems named Frank J. Costa chief executive officer. He held executive positions with Active Voice and Intel. Perlego's founding CEO, Todd Ostrander, will be chief strategy officer. Perlego Systems provides hosted mobile device lifecycle management solutions, and is based in Gig Harbor.
Destination Hotels and Resorts hired Kris Colborn as executive chef of The Inn at Suncadia in Suncadia, near Roslyn. Colborn was executive chef at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland. Suncadia is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in suburban Denver.
Moss Adams named David W. Schilling managing partner of the accounting firm's Seattle office. He succeeds W. Arthur King, who is now northern regional managing partner.

The Port of Everett promoted Carl Wollebek to the new post of senior director of operations. He was the director of marine terminals. Scott Grindy was promoted to marine terminals facilities and security director. John Chatterton was appointed to the new position of supervisor-facility security officer. Ken Cole will be lead for security.
Allstate Insurance Co. promoted Chuck Lund to market distribution leader for the Seattle-metro area. Lund has worked for Allstate for three years. Allstate is a national publicly held personal lines insurer.
Foster Pepper added two construction litigators in Seattle. Jeffrey G. Frank and Gregory A.V. Clark join as members in the Litigation and Construction Practice Group. Both were with Bullivant Houser Bailey. Foster Pepper has offices in Seattle, Spokane and Portland.

Seattle law firm Carney Bradley Spellman named Steven J. Hopp president. He succeeds Timothy J. Parker. Patrick R. Lamb was named chair of the business department; Clifford A. Webster is director of associates; and Nicholas P. Scarpelli Jr. and C. Scott Penner are directors. Stephen L. Nourse and Richard P. Matthews will continue as directors.
PRR hired Elaine Kraft as director of media relations. She was public relations and communications director at the University of Washington, Bothell, and is the former communications director for King County. PRR is a Seattle-based communications firm with an office in the Washington, D.C. area.
Entellium in Seattle promoted Jared Ruckle to director of product marketing and Charles Miller to vice president of strategic projects. Entellium is a customer relationship management software company.
Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes named Michael Cawdrey general manager of the 82-acre property on San Juan Island. Cawdrey was hotel services manager for the Pan Pacific Hotel in Seattle. Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality manages and operates the resort.
