East King County Bar Association

Bellevue-based law firm Inslee Best Doezie & Ryder said lawyer Annneliese E. Johnson has been elected president of the East King County Bar Association. The association was founded in 1962 to serve Seattle's Eastside legal community.

Cole & Weber United's Co-President Brad Harrington is leaving the agency for another opportunity in San Francisco. He has been with the company for 10 years. Cole & Weber United is a full-service marketing agency. Mike Doherty is president.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

Northwest law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt added Jennifer K. Wyatt in the Seattle office as an associate in the products liability and financial services groups. Wyatt previously practiced law at Stanislaw Ashbaugh.

Greater Seattle Business Association

The Greater Seattle Business Association, the country's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender business chamber, picked the winners of its 26th Annual Business & Humanitarian Awards. Dani Cone, owner of Fuel Coffee, won best new business of the year. Tamara Murphy, chef and owner of Brasa Restaurant, won business woman of the year. Roy Hamrick of Hamrick Investment Counsel won business man of the year. Three Dollar Bill Cinema, a group that fosters a supportive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender film, won nonprofit of the year. Beth Reis, founder of the Safe Schools Coalition, won the community leadership award.

Allyis

Allyis, a Bellevue-based technical consulting and staffing services company, has made some promotions and expanded the board of directors. Richard Law remains CEO and chairman of the board. Ethan Yarbrough has been promoted to president after 10 years in the posts of CFO and COO. Suzette McClintock is chief business officer. Mark Wasowicz is chief financial officer. Rochelle Hill is executive vice president. Patrick Porter is director of business development. Wascowicz, Hill and Porter also join the board of directors. Jeff Eidelman is recruiting manager. Allison May is senior marketing manager. Katie Kloster is account manager. For the Worldwide Microsoft System Builder Team, Kerry Huss is publishing team lead and Ryan Barschaw is development team lead. For the U.S. Microsoft System Builder Team, Melinda Johnston is publishing team lead. Ken Efta becomes the first practice manager within the Business Development Team.

CityClub

CityClub named Diane Douglas executive director. Douglas founded the Center for Liberal Arts at Bellevue Community College. CityClub is a nonprofit civic education organization in Seattle.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts

Seattle-based Noble House Hotels & Resorts appointed Lisa Maria Stice corporate director of e-commerce marketing. Stice worked with Noble House & Resorts from 1994 to 2003. Noble House owns and manages 13 boutique hotels and resorts.

Public Power Council

The Public Power Council Executive Committee in Portland voted to endorse Scott Corwin as executive director. He was at PNGC Power and replaces Marilyn Showalter. The council represents 114 consumer-owned electric utilities in the Pacific Northwest.
