Destination Services NW, a Victoria Clipper Co. specializing in meeting planning, hired Anna Cronin as program design/event coordinator. Cronin is an 11-year volunteer with the nonprofit arts organization Twelfth Night Productions.
Seattle-based Zonar Systems, an electronic vehicle inspection tools and telematics solution company, hired Jason Fallon and Taek Sung as vice presidents in charge of national accounts. Fallon was director of national accounts for the U.S. section of DHL Express. Sung was with Corporate Express.
Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels appointed Dr. Rajiv Shah to the Seattle Public Library Board of Trustees. Shah is director of agricultural development and financial services for the poor at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Trustees serve five-year terms on the board and must be confirmed by the city council.
Clark Nuber, a CPA firm in Bellevue, made a series of new hires. New audit associates are Linneth Lim, Jessica Pickett and Karen Smythers. Frances Strosahl is a new tax associate. New audit interns are Emily Boulanger, Garrett Brown, Kelly Favors, Zachary Kieffer, Nate Knutson, Bryce Rassilyer and Linsey Watanabe. New tax interns are Colleen Harper and Blythe Murray.

Michele Earl Hubbard and Greg Overstreet have formed the Allied Law Group, with an office at 12354 30th Ave. N.E. Hubbard was a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine. Overstreet was a special assistant attorney general for government accountability in the Office of the Attorney General.
Mark Crisson, director and CEO of Tacoma Public Utilities, said he will retire later this year to serve as president/CEO of the American Public Power Association. At APPA he will be an advocate for 1,400 publicly owned utilities nationwide. Crisson has been with Tacoma Public Utilities for 29 years.
Bellevue-based Confirma, a developer of CAD systems and accessories for medical imaging, hired Nick Dykstra as chief financial officer. Dykstra was executive vice president and director of Panlabs International, a pharmaceutical research company.
Crowley Maritime in Anchorage hired Bob Cox as general manager of the petroleum distribution group. Cox will be responsible for Crowley's 18 Alaska marine and aviation petroleum terminals. He previously worked at Petro Marine Services.
Seattle-based mobile search provider Medio Systems hired Robert P. Lilleness as chief operating officer. Lilleness was with Universal Electronics.
The King County Council has confirmed Sherril Huff as director of the records, elections and licensing services division. Huff has been acting director of the division since April. She has also been Kitsap County auditor.
