Willows Lodge hired Teresa Winfield as group sales manager and Christina Longo as pastry chef to the Barking Frog Restaurant. Winfield worked at the Edgewater Hotel. Longo will introduce desserts with locally grown, organic ingredients. Willows Lodge is managed by MTM Luxury Lodgings.
EvergreenBank made new hires. Kim Nguyen is a credit analyst in the Seattle office. Becky Jay is assistant vice president, relationship manager in the Seattle office. Tricia Dunn is a personal financial representative in the Federal Way office.
Bellevue-based Baldwin Resource Group hired Matt Bryant as a property casualty account executive. Baldwin Resource Group offers professional services, including risk management and insurance, to companies.
NanoString Technologies hired Lianne McLean in preparation for the commercial launch of the nCounter Analysis System. McLean worked with Applied Biosystems. The nCounter Analysis System is a life sciences tool for clinical validation.

Puget Sound Blood Center promoted Sandy Linauts and Maria Elena Geyer to executive vice presidents. This follows the announcement that D. Michael Strong, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will step down after 20 years at the center. Linauts and Geyer will oversee his areas of responsibility. Both had been vice presidents. The center is an independent, community-based blood center.
Merrill Gardens senior housing promoted Morei Lingle to vice president of training and development.
Northwest Commercial Bank hired Rod Clemmer as vice president and manager of the loan production office in Auburn and Lorna Hidalgo as an assistant manager. Clemmer was vice president and manager of the South Auburn branch of Columbia Bank. Hidalgo has been an assistant to Clemmer for the past 15 years at Cascade Community Bank and at Columbia Bank.
The Washington State Arts Alliance and Foundation hired Mary Langholz as executive director. Langholz has 25 years experience in the arts. She has worked with the Seattle Symphony and the McGraw-Hill Co. Both the alliance and foundation are statewide arts advocacy organizations.
