Lane Powell

Lane Powell announced three attorneys in the Seattle office have been elected shareholders: Gregory R. Fox, William W. Lin and David L Young.

Susman Godfrey

The Seattle office of Susman Godfrey, a litigation boutique law firm, hired Daniel Jeffrey Shih and Genevieve Vose as associates. Shih was a law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Vose worked as law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and in the U.S. District for the Western District of Washington.

Seattle Theatre Group

The Seattle Theatre Group, a nonprofit arts organization that operates the Paramount and Moore theaters, made a series of new hires. Kate Becker is director of development, Adam Zacks is senior talent buyer, Timie Dolan is concerts marketing manager and Amanda Bedell is public relations manager.

Federal Home Loan Bank

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle reappointed Daniel R. Fauske of Anchorage and Jack T. Riggs of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to the board of directors. Fauske is chief executive officer and executive director of Alaska Housing Finance Corp. Riggs is an emergency medicine physician and partner in North Idaho Medical Care Centers. Both were appointed for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2008.

Taco Del Mar

Seattle-based Taco Del Mar announced a change of leadership. James Schmidt, co-founder and chief executive officer, has resumed the role of president, a position he held from 1992 to 2004. Kevin Hansen, the company's vice president of franchise development, has been promoted to chief operations officer. David Huether, who served as president since December of 2004, has stepped down to consult for the company and remain a stakeholder. Taco Del Mar has 260 locations.

Sturtevant's

After 30 years of ownership, Duncan and Janet Campbell have sold their interest in Dual Sports, the parent company of Bellevue ski shop Sturtevant's, to current employees Jeff Campbell, Tracy Gibbons and Stacey Weichbrodt. Gibbons becomes president and chief operating officer. She was general manager/director of operations. Campbell, Duncan Campbell's son, becomes chief financial officer. He was financial manager. Weichbrodt, Duncan Campbell's niece, becomes a minor shareholder and assumes responsibility for purchasing apparel in addition to her current position as advertising manager. Sturtevant's has locations in Bellevue and Puyallup.

Integra Telecom

Portland-based Integra Telecom, a provider of telecommunications and Internet services for business, appointed Jeff Oxley executive vice president and general counsel. He is based in Minneapolis, worked for Eschelon Telecom and had been assistant attorney general for the state of Minnesota.

EvergreenBank

Seattle-based EvergreenBancorp, the holding company for EvergreenBank, announced Dan W. Curtis has been promoted to executive vice president and chief lending officer for the bank. Curtis has worked at EvergreenBank for 34 years.

Pacific Northwest University

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima hired Stan Flemming as president. Flemming has been mayor of the city of University Place, a state legislator, an army general and a family practice physician. In 1995, he was a candidate for U.S. Surgeon General. He will lead the new osteopathic medical college as it prepares for its first class of 70 students in 2008. Fred Tinning was interim president.

H.B. Stubbs Companies

H.B. Stubbs Companies of Warren, Mich., will open two new offices in Seattle and Portland. In Portland, David Hancock will lead the Interpretive Exhibits team. In Seattle, Byrne “Sparky” Sanford was named senior account executive. Joining Sanford is Christine Mason, Kelly Wyatt and Candi Baranski. H.B. Stubbs provides exhibit and event marketing services. Seattle clients include Microsoft and Avid Technologies.

Foster Pepper

The Foster Pepper law firm added Olivia Pennella and Eileen Suh to the Seattle office. Pennella is an associate in the business practice group. She comes from Barclays North in Everett where she served as corporate counsel. She will focus on transactional business law. Suh comes from Debevoise & Plimpton in New York where she was a corporate associate. She represented issuers, underwriters and borrowers in capital markets and corporate finance transactions.

Sterling Savings Bank

Sterling Savings Bank has promoted Anna Roszkowski to vice president. She was recently hired as a deposit relationship manager for the Seattle corporate banking office. Prior to coming to Sterling she was employed by US Bank as a relationship manager for its Commercial Banking Deposit and Payment Solutions department.
