Helsell Fetterman

Moss Adams

Moss Adams announced Kim Sjostrom has been certified by the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals as a Construction Industry Financial Professional. The ICCIFP is a not-for-profit corporation that promotes high standards of construction financial management.

Intiman Theatre

Laura Penn, managing director of Seattle's Intiman Theatre, has accepted the position of executive director of The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, succeeding Barbara Hauptman. Penn leaves Intiman after 14 seasons and will relocate to New York this spring. The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers is a labor union with 1,700 members in the U.S.

King County Human Resources Division

King County Executive Ron Sims announced Elizabeth Ford will lead the Human Resources Division's Labor Relations Section. Ford was a partner with the law firm Schwerin Campbell Barnard and has worked for the city of Seattle, the Public Employment Relations Commission of Washington and the Washington State Marine Employees Commission.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

Jennifer Wyatt, an associate at the Pacific Northwest law firm of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, was appointed vice chair of the Women in the Profession Committee of the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. She was also reappointed to the Washington State Bar Association's Professionalism Committee for 2008.

Kibble & Prentice

Kibble & Prentice, an insurance and financial services company, hired Scott Summers as vice president in the Commercial Insurance Division.

Jobster

Seattle-based Jobster, an online career network, hired Jeff Seely as chief executive officer. Seely was CEO at ShareBuilder in Bellevue. He succeeds Jobster founder Jason Goldberg, who will transition to the role of vice chairman of the board of directors.

Ascentium

Bellevue-based Ascentium, an interactive, marketing and technology consulting firm, acquired Miller.WhiteRunkle, an advertising agency with offices in Spokane, Seattle and Atlanta. The acquisition will help Ascentium develop national branding and advertising capabilities.

Ater Wynne

Rob Roy Smith joined the law firm Ater Wynne's Seattle office. Smith is a federal American Indian law attorney who has served as counsel to numerous tribes and is an adjunct professor of federal Indian law at Seattle University School of Law.
