Seattle-based Earth Class Mail, a global service that delivers postal mail online, hired Rajeev Dujari as vice president of product management. Dujari worked at Microsoft for 15 years and was an inventor on 12 issued patents while at the company.
Kibble & Prentice, an insurance and financial services company, hired Angie Tonnon as vice president in the Commercial Insurance Division.
The Port of Longview announced three staff appointments. Norm Krehbiel, port director of facilities and engineering, will now also be deputy executive director. Valerie Harris has been promoted from manager of business development to director of marketing upon the retirement of Gary Lindstrom in May. Ashley Opsahl-Scibelli is manager of communications and public affairs. She worked with PNE Corp.
The Seattle office of law firm Foster Pepper announced Ron Whitener, of counsel in the firm's Native American Legal Services Group, has been appointed chief judge for the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis. He will decide both criminal and civil legal cases, and manage the administration of the tribes' judicial system.
Washington, D.C.-based APCO Worldwide hired Kristi England and Heidi Hall in its Seattle office. England is a senior associate and has 14 years experience in public affairs and community relations. She recently helped launch the Seattle Climate Action Now initiative. Hall, who is a manager, worked with Vander Houwen Public Relations for seven years. APCO is a global communication consultancy with offices around the world.

Seattle-Northwest Securities Corp., an investment banking firm, hired David Fife as senior vice president of the Energy Finance Group and Nicole Peterson as assistant vice president of the Housing and Real Estate Public Finance Group. Fife has 25 years experience and was president and CEO of The Energy Consulting Group in Utah. Peterson was a project manager for Williams & Dame Development in Portland.
Clark Nuber, a CPA firm in Bellevue, made a series of new hires. They are Garrett Brown and Bryan Dean as audit associates, Colleen Harper as tax associate, Kammie Lewis as tax manager and Keri Woolery as executive assistant to the CEO.
Virginia Mason Medical Center promoted Keith Mock to director of finance and Alvin Calderon to program director of the Virginia Mason Internal Medicine Residency. Mock has been at Virginia Mason for five years and was the government programs manager.
Safeco hired Kirk Chartier as senior leader of distribution and strategy. Chartier was a senior managing partner at Zyman Group and has worked with General Electric and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Russell Investments in Tacoma hired Patricia Akiyama as government and community relations director. Akiyama has worked for Quadrant Homes and Weyerhaeuser Co. She also served as chief of staff for U.S. Senator Patty Murray in the late 1990s.
