Barking Frog

Barking Frog, a restaurant at Willows Lodge in Woodinville, hired Trena Costello as pastry chef. Costello will oversee the dessert menu at Barking Frog, including the creation of all dessert and pastry items. She was previously the pastry chef for Langham Hotel in Boston.

Oles, Morrison, Rinker & Baker

Oles, Morrison, Rinker & Baker hired Renea Saade as of counsel in the Anchorage office. Saade specializes in employment law and commercial litigation. She will also serve clients in the firm's Seattle location.

Open Satellite

Open Satellite, a contemporary art exhibition hall for the Seattle metropolitan area, has chosen Yoko Ott as interim director in charge of all operations, following the departure of current director of exhibitions Abigail Guay. Guay is moving to a new position at the Henry Art Gallery. Ott was curator of Seattle University's Hedreen Gallery and deputy director of 826 Seattle.

Lane Powell

Portia Moore, a shareholder at Seattle law firm Lane Powell and member of the Labor and Employment Group, was recently selected as a member of the 2009 DirectWomen Board Institute, a program designed to identify and promote qualified women lawyers to serve on corporate boards of public companies. The institute is an initiative of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and Catalyst.

Virginia Mason Medical Center

Virginia Mason Medical Center hired Jim Cote as vice president of clinics. He will have responsibility for Virginia Mason Federal Way, Laboratory Services, Clinic Information Technology, the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and surgery sections. Cote has worked in health care for 25 years and was recently with Children's Hospital Boston.
