The Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs named Dorothy Hanson director of behavioral health services and PTSD programs. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked in the supply field and accounting for 15 years before leaving as a master sergeant. She has a masters degree in psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy, and provided direct services to veterans at the Tacoma Vet Center and the King County Veterans Program before opening a private practice. Hanson has oversight of 38 PTSD therapists providing direct services to veterans, and oversees the Vet Corps staff in colleges, universities and technical schools.
Andrew Neiditz was recommended to become the first executive director of South Sound 911 and will be considered by the new agency's Policy Board, which meets Wednesday. The agency is replacing the patchwork of independent radio systems and dispatch centers. Neiditz has more than 25 years of senior executive experience in local government. He has been Lakewood city manager since 2005, and was executive director of public safety in Pierce County.

Seattle law firm Lane Powell hired Gregory Wesner and Kristin Beneski as shareholders in the intellectual property and technology practice group and associates in the litigation practice group. Wesner was a partner at Frommer Lawrence & Haug and K&L Gates. Beneski worked as a judicial intern for judge Joseph Beshouri in the District of Columbia Superior Court and judge John Coughenour in the U.S. District for the western district of Washington.
The PACCAR board of directors elected Robert Christensen to chief financial officer and executive vice president, effective January 1, 2013. Christensen has 29 years with PACCAR, most recently as executive vice president. He joined PACCAR in 1983 and has had senior management roles with PACCAR parts, Kenworth and Peterbilt.
Seattle-based iJet Onboard hired Steve Forte as chief executive officer. Forte worked as CEO of Naverus, a global leader in performance-based navigation. Prior to that, general manager of GE Aviation PBN Services and senior executive with United Airlines. iJet Onboard is a privately held provider of platform-based software services enabling the intelligent aircraft.

Seattle law firm Lane Powell attorney Laura Marquez-Garrett has been appointed a trustee and committee chair on the board of directors of Washington State Bar Association's Sexual Orientation and Gender Identification Legal Issues Section. The group supports the legal needs of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered residents of Washington.
Tacoma Public Utilities hired Clark Mather as a senior manager for external affairs. Mather worked as district director for U.S. Representative Norm Dicks for six years, and prior to that worked on the staff of U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell.
Seattle-based Moss Adams, an accounting and business consulting firm, said that it has agreed to combine with Silicon Valley-based accounting firm Mohler, Nixon & Williams effective Jan. 1, 2013. Mohler is one of the largest local CPA firms in California, with 25 partners and more than 160 personnel. Next spring, the Santa Clara office of Moss Adams will move into the Mohler office in Campbell, and the San Francisco office of Mohler will share space with Moss Adams' office. All Mohler partners and most of its employees are expected to join Moss Adams.
