Richland-based Pacific Northwest National Laboratory named Kevin Ensign director of internal audit. Ensign joined PNNL in 2007 as prime contract manager. He later was PNNL's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act lead and most recently was manager of the business development and analysis department.
The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance hired Melanie Jordan as executive director. Jordan, president of Aviation Liaison Services, is also a pilot and aviation enthusiast, and has been a Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance board member since 2007. The alliance is a nonprofit dedicated to keeping the aerospace industry competitive.
Wells Fargo & Co. said it will give $200,000 in grants to Washington organizations and programs that support workforce development and job creation. The grants go to: Seattle FareStart, $100,000; Seattle Goodwill, $50,000; Tacoma Goodwill, $25,000 and Yakima, EnTrust Community Services, $25,000.

University of Washington Tacoma's Milgard School of Business will honor the following people at its annual business leadership awards dinner April 30: Richard Brandsma, president and CEO of Sound Credit Union; Janine Terrano, president and CEO of Topia Technology; Joseph W. Wilczek, CEO of Franciscan Health System; Brian Sonntag, retired Washington state auditor; and Michael P. Slevin III, director of the Tacoma Environmental Services Department.
San Francisco-based law firm Sedgwick hired Robert Meyers as partner in its Seattle office. Meyers represents insurers in the Pacific Northwest and nationally in complex, high-value coverage and commercial disputes. Sedgwick provides trial, appellate, litigation management, counseling, risk management and transactional legal services.
The Washington Small Business Development Center hired Sharon Sappington as a business consultant. Sappington was sole proprietor of Sappington Global, an international business consultancy. The center provides free, confidential advising to small business owners and people who want to start one.

John K. Borland has been named vice president and relationship manager for Wells Fargo's Seattle Regional Commercial Banking offices. Borland was vice president and relationship manager for U.S. Bank.
The consulting firm Weezer Group has been launched to help organizations harness the power of visual media technology. Richard McLeland Wieser, chief consultant, has experience in broadcast TV, audiovisual integration, corporate communications and events.
Seattle-based Context Relevant, a developer of predictive analytics applications, hired Christopher Re as senior scientist, Art Munson as data scientist, Craig Fiebig as vice president of marketing and Tom Murphy as vice president of customer success.
