Bothell has hired Dean Perez as human resources director and Barbara Ramey as communications officer. Perez worked for Clatsop County, Oregon, as director of administrative services, supervising human resources, information systems and emergency management. He has 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Ramey was a communications specialist at King County Elections, managing media relations, social media and ethnic media campaigns. She has 25 years of experience in municipal, county and corporate sectors.
Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson has added Christopher J. Yoson to its estate planning, trusts and probate practice group. His practice concentrates on estate and trust work as well as probate and tax planning for family businesses. He worked as general counsel for a Seattle insurance brokerage.

Three members of The Partners Group Business Consulting Division have been promoted: Amber Rhemrev to analytics manager, Adam Fuller to senior business analyst, and Katherine Azurdia to business development analyst. The Bellevue-based firm offers services such as employee benefits, business consulting, retirement planning and investment, and insurance.
Puget Sound Bank said Debbie L. Balovich is now vice president and operations support services manager. Balovich has over 20 years of community banking experience.

Bothell-based Systems Interface has acquired Yeast Systems LLC after 25 years of working together in the food and beverage industry. Gordon Messer owns Yeast Systems. Systems Interface provides industrial control systems for aerospace, maritime, and food and beverage uses.
Weyerhaeuser Distribution, a distributor of building materials, named David Helmers to lead the division as vice president. Weyerhaeuser Distribution has expanded sales teams and introduced new product lines. Helmers is a 20-year veteran of Weyerhaeuser, most recently director of sales and business development for Weyerhaeuser Distribution.
Vince O'Halloran, Seattle branch agent of the Sailor's Union of the Pacific, won the 2015 Puget Sound Maritime Achievement Award. He is also president of Puget Sound Ports Council, Maritime Trades Department, AFL-CIO.

Katie Kuciemba joins Sound Cities Association as a senior policy analyst. SCA represents 36 cities in King County. She worked for Sound Transit and managed outreach for a $3.6 billion extension of light rail, and also worked for Snohomish County managing state and federal government relations.
Sound Mental Health, a nonprofit that provides mental health and related services in King County, hired Tresa Thomas Massiongale as its new community development officer. She has more than 20 years of nonprofit experience in California, New York and Arizona, and has raised more than $32 million to date. She will oversee communications, marketing, community relations and fund development.
