Thomson Law has hired Tom Keating, Ph.D., J.D. in Bellingham. He has experience at a large law firm, and in software, mechanical/medical devices, biotechnology and bioinformatics patents.
Port of Everett Commissioner Troy McClelland was reelected for a second, six-year term. He has been working on trade and real estate infrastructure such as developing Waterfront Place Central, as well as contamination issues.
GreenRubino hired Rachael Brister, former vice president of marketing and tourism for the Greater Seattle Business Association, as the firm's LGBT strategist. She has 18 years of experience in marketing and planning, and has been working in the LGBT community for 20 years.

OpenSquare named Mike Montgomery chief operating officer. He was CEO of Bucky, a Seattle company that makes natural and health related travel products, and was COO of Electric Mirror and Northwest Trustee Services, and managing director of Mazama Capital Advisors. OpenSquare is an office furniture dealership formed in 2013 by the merger of Bank and Office Interiors, and Barclay Dean.
Cheryle Broom, who was King County auditor for over a decade, is now interim director of the King County Office of Law Enforcement Oversight until a permanent director can be hired. Broom retired as county auditor in 2013, and has four decades of auditing and performance management experience.

Redmond-based Ivycorp said Tomas Isaksson is now president and CEO. Isaksson is a 30-year veteran of the international telecom industry and has worked for Ericsson Radio Systems, Europolitan Holdings AB and Vodafone. Ivycorp provides messaging services.
Julie S. Nicoll joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Litigation Practice Group, focusing on defense of environmental claims and insurance coverage counseling. Nicoll was the owner of Element Law PLLC.

Robin Romeo, director of labor relations at the Port of Seattle, is leaving the port to work in private practice on arbitration and mediation of labor issues. She was with Washington State Public Employment Relations Commission as an administrative law judge, arbitrator and mediator before joining the port.
The Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Association hired Jessa Timmer as executive director. She has worked on business development at Neighborhood Ventures, a community business organization, and Michigan's Main Street program. The BIA provides advocacy and sanitation services, and coordinates major events.
Stokes Lawrence said Heidi Drivdahl has joined the Business and Financial Services practices, serving new high-growth companies. She was with Summit Law Group, Riddell Williams and DLA Piper.
Keller Rohrback, a Seattle-based law firm, has a new office in Oakland. Jeffrey Lewis, a litigator with experience in employee benefits and employment, has joined the firm from Lewis, Feinberg, Lee, Renaker & Jackson. Jacob Richards is a new associate in the Complex Litigation group. The firm also has offices in Phoenix, Santa Barbara, New York and Montana.
