Propel Insurance, a Tacoma-based national insurance agency, acquired United Risk Solutions in Medford, Oregon, the largest independent agency in Southern Oregon, with experience in the timber and trucking industries as well as commercial insurance, workers' compensation, employee benefits and bonding.
Fife's Aquatic Services Coordinator Megan Jendrick has been named sirector of the city's Aquatics Services Department. Jendrick is an Olympic champion who won two gold medals in 2000 and a silver in 2008.
Seattle-based Koverse named Jon Matsuo president and CEO, and Paul Brown chief product officer. Koverse provides software for data-driven projects that include threat detection, customer analytics, real-time situational awareness, data silo consolidation and analytical applications. Matsuo worked at Qpass, Concur Technologies and Delrina Corp. Brown has directed big data efforts in intelligence, defense and finance organizations.

Gregory T. Pyle has joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. Pyle will focus on corporate, business and transactional matters. Heidi Brooks Bradley has joined Lane Powell as a shareholder in the Litigation Department. Bradley will focus on securities litigation, antitrust matters and complex commercial disputes. Bradley was with Sullivan & Cromwell's Los Angeles office, and Heller Ehrman.
The National Institute for Trial Advocacy appointed Harry H. Schneider, Jr., a partner with Perkins Coie, to its board of trustees. His legal career has spanned more than three decades and he has handled numerous high-profile cases. NITA trains and mentors lawyers.

Clarity Quest, a marketing and public relations agency serving health care, biotech and business-to-business tech sectors, opened a downtown Seattle office offering strategy, branding and public relations services as well as online marketing and website development. Cori Omundson leads the Seattle office.
Madrona Venture Group said Julie Sandler will join the Presidential Leadership Scholars class of 2016. The program draws on resources from the presidential centers of Lyndon B. Johnson, George H.W. Bush, William J. Clinton and George W. Bush. The group learns from former presidents, adminstration officials and academics. Sandler leads new investment opportunities for Madrona and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Washington. She launched Seattle Entrepreneurial Women's Network and was named Geekwire's 2014 Geek of the Year.

Northwest Kidney Centers, a nonprofit that provides dialysis care in King and Clallam counties, named two new medical directors. Dr. Lin “Alex” Li is at the Snoqualmie Ridge clinic, 35131 S.E. Douglas St. Dr. Kathryn Treit will supervise the peritoneal dialysis program. She practices at The Polyclinic in Seattle.

Corr Cronin Michelson Baumgardner Fogg & Moore said Camden Hall has joined the firm as of counsel. Hall's practice focuses on complex, high-net-worth family law matters including dissolutions, prenuptial and marriage agreements, and property and parenting disputes. The firm offers litigation strategies in complex commercial disputes, class action defense, product liability cases and employment matters and other litigation needs.
