Central Washington University named Sharon O'Hare vice president of enrollment management. O'Hare is associate vice president for enrollment management and student success at University of Montana. She will focus on retention and recruitment activities, financial aid policy and administration, and enrollment programming, and oversee the Office of Admissions, and the departments of Student Financial Services and Enrollment Communications. Last fall CWU experienced a 21 percent increase in freshmen enrollment. She also worked for Missoula Housing Authority and as a city planner.
QuoteWizard, an online insurance comparison marketplace based in Pioneer Square, has opened an office in Denver. This is the first external office for the 10-year-old company, which now has 180 employees in Seattle. The Denver office is in the LoDo district. QuoteWizard has a network of more than 8,000 local agents in 50 states focused on home, auto, life and health insurance. Scott Peyree is co-founder and CEO.

Seattle-based Miller Nash Graham & Dunn hired four attorneys in Seattle: Alyson Palmer, Connor O'Brien, Drew Duggan and Amalia Walton. Palmer is an associate on the employment law and labor relations team, and was an associate at Stoel Rives. O'Brien and Duggan are litigation associates, and Walton joins as counsel working on environmental and land use issues. O'Brien was a judge advocate in the Marine Corps, and senior defense counsel in Afghanistan. Duggan was a clerk at the Pentagon and King County Prosecutor's Office. Walton has worked with a variety of regulatory agencies.
HomeStreet Bank said it has an agreement to acquire two branches in Lake Oswego, Oregon, from The Bank of Oswego later this year. This will give HomeStreet five retail branches in the Portland metro area.

The Rainier Group in Bellevue said Rachel McCracken has joined as portfolio manager. She has 15 years of experience in private wealth management in New York and Seattle. Rainier Group works with clients on business transition, succession and wealth management with offices in Bellevue, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The Seattle electric bike company Rad Power Bikes has opened a flagship store in Ballard at 2622 N.W. Market St. that sells bikes for utilitarian as well as recreational riding, with its two street legal models: RadRover and RadWagon. RadRover is a mountain bike style fat bike. RadWagon is a cargo bike with room for passengers and gear. The co-founder and president is Mike Radenbaugh. The company started in California in 2007.

Jill White of Timber Ridge at Talus in Issaquah received the Superstar Award from Life Care Services, which manages 135 senior living communities in the United States.
Genesee Adkins is the new chief of staff for Seattle Department of Transportation, leading external engagement and providing strategic counsel. Adkins was director of state relations for the University of Washington and UW's chief lobbyist in Olympia. She also directed government relations for the King County executive and the city of Seattle's state legislative director. She will replace Hannah McIntosh, who is taking a yearlong sabbatical.
The Washington State School Directors' Association named Rainier School District Superintendent Timothy Garchow executive director starting in August when Executive Director Alan Burke retires. He has been superintendent for six years.
