Banner Bank hired Craig Miller as executive vice president and general counsel. This is a new position at the company. Miller was a senior litigation partner at Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle, and was of counsel with Rose Joneson Vargas in American Samoa. His special concentration is representing creditors in distressed credit cases. Banner Bank has more than 200 locations in Washington, Oregon, California, Utah and Idaho.

Andrea H. Reay will assume the position of president/CEO of Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce. Reay was formerly the executive director of the Discover Burien Association.

Byron Dailey has joined Lane Powell as a shareholder in the business department. Dailey is a corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions attorney with 15 years of experience in domestic and international business. He was a partner in DLA Piper's Seattle office and also practiced in the New York City office of Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom.
CenturyLink said its employees, the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation and local citizens contributed more than $740,000 to food banks and schools across the state through two national community relations programs. Backpack Buddies Food Drive, held June 6-17, supported 24 food banks in Washington. CenturyLink Teachers and Technology program awarded $102,000 to schools.

Brooks Running Co. promoted Patrick Pons de Vier to senior vice president of global footwear and hired Gerald Kuhtz as senior design director of global footwear. Pons de Vier leads design, development, product management, and research and development. Kuhtz was VP of football design for adidas.
