Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker hired Daniel Radthorne and Benjamin Zickes in the Seattle office. Radthorne joins the firm as an associate in the Construction and Government Contracts Departments. Zickes is the firm's eDiscovery paralegal, overseeing all aspects of identifying, collecting and producing electronically stored information in patent litigation, antitrust and government/regulatory investigation. The firm has offices in Washington, Alaska and California.
Stacy M. Pearson, a senior administrator at Boise State University, has been named vice president for finance and administration at Washington State University. Pearson has served for 12 years in an equivalent position at BSU, where she supervised planning and facilities operations, master planning and a major building campaign. Pearson starts March 1. Former WSU Vice President for Finance and Administration Roger Patterson left the university last year. Olivia Yang has served on an interim basis.

sbe, a Los Angeles-based hospitality company, named Tawny Paperd director of sales and marketing, Leah Levar director of human resources, and Gavin Stephenson executive chef and director of food and beverage for SLS Seattle. The 189-room hotel is set to open next year in The Mark office tower at Fifth and Columbia. Paperd worked at Sheraton Seattle, Salish Lodge & Spa, Hotel 1000 and Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. Levar worked in human resources at the Olympic Hotel since 1994. Stephenson was executive chef at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel and worked at the Ritz Carlton Chicago.
Seattle Municipal Court Presiding Judge Karen Donohue was awarded the 2016 Justice Vaino Spencer Leadership Award by the Honorable Lisa Walsh, past president of the National Association of Women Judges. Donohue joined the group in 2011 when she was elected to Seattle Municipal Court. Donohue is serving her first term as presiding judge.

Stoel Rives LLP said two female attorneys — Sallie Lin and Alyssa M. Petroff — have joined the firm as OnRamp Fellows in Portland and Seattle. Stoel Rives is one of 29 law firms in the U.S., Australia and the UK involved in this re-entry program for women in the legal and financial services industries. Participants get education, training and one-on-one coaching with career experts. OnRamp Fellowship was created to close the gap between female and male lawyers in leadership roles. Lin focuses her practice on real estate law in Seattle. Petroff is in Portland and focuses on business law.
Pike Place Market Foundation said that it has raised $6 million for Pike Up!, including recent donations from Pike Place Chowder, Microsoft and The Norcliffe Foundation. The $9 million capital campaign was launched to help fund MarketFront on Western Avenue, adding a public plaza, retail, senior housing and a neighborhood center. Pacific Northwest law firm Miller Nash Graham & Dunn hired three associates in Seattle. Kalin Bornemann joins the business team with several years’ experience. George Kaai joins the real estate and land use team, and Katie Loberstein joins the litigation team. Kaai and Loberstein are first-year associates. Bornemann practiced at Harlowe & Falk in Tacoma.

Interim Metro General Manager Rob Gannon has been named to the position permanently. Gannon has been interim general manager since March and was Metro deputy general manager from 2013-2016, and human resources manager for King County Department of Transportation from 2011-2013. His salary will be $193,634. The agency's proposed 2017-2018 budget is about $2.5 billion to operate transit service across King County.
U-Haul Company of Washington said Redmond Ridge Self Storage has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer in Redmond. It is located at 23060 N.E. 102nd St., and will offer U-Haul trucks, towing equipment and pick-up for boxes. It is operated by Patrick Reilly and Lorin Christean.
