JND Legal Administration, a management and administration company offering corporate restructuring, class action, mass tort, government services and eDiscovery services, announced it is rebranding UpShot Services LLC to JND Corporate Restructuring. JND acquired the claims and noticing agent based in Denver to create a new corporate restructuring division. Travis Vandell and Robert Klamser of UpShot were appointed JND Corporate Restructuring's CEO and president, respectively.

Chase Communications, a public relations and marketing communications firm with headquarters in San Francisco and Washington, D.C, said it has hired a former special events marketing coordinator, Gabrielle Nadel, and the former deputy campaign manager for San Franciscans For Real Housing Solutions, Daniel Baldocchi. Nadel is based in D.C., and is an account manager and digital strategist. Baldocchi will work in the San Francisco office as account coordinator.
Incoming Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier has named his executive team: Dan Grimm, chief operating officer, served two terms as state treasurer; Don Anderson, senior counsel/military liaison and veterans services; Brian Hardtke, director of policy and deputy counsel; Carol Mitchell, director of justice services and special projects; Chris Cooley, special assistant for budget and finance/special projects; and Sarah Pollock, director of constituent service.

Mary Jo Gonzales, a senior administrator with the University of Rhode Island, is the new vice president for student affairs at Washington State University. Gonzales will be responsible for non-curricular aspects of student life.
Michael P. Meotti was appointed executive director of Washington Student Achievement Council by Governor Jay Inslee. He fills a vacancy resulting from the retirement of Dr. Gene Sharratt, the previous executive director. Meotti will assume his new role on Feb. 8. The council administers programs that help people attend college and advocates for higher education.

The Northwest African American Museum named Dr. Mildred W. Ollee, former president of Seattle Central Community College, its interim executive director. She was president from 2003 to 2010, serving 23,000 students a year and managing a budget of over $80 million. Ollee also was president at Portland Community College.
KMS Financial Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services, said Eric Westberg will become chairman and CEO; Tracy “Ace” Forsythe will become president and chief legal officer; and Aileen G. Krohn will become executive vice president. KMS is a Seattle-based broker-dealer and investment advisory firm. Westberg succeeds Mark Hamby, who is retiring after 33 years with KMS.
