Terry has experience with construction claims, defect litigation, contracts, and construction site personal injury cases. He is LEED accredited.

Mattson

Creative marketing and strategic communication agency JayRay has hired Allison Mattson. Her focus is creating content across social channels for South Sound destinations, and entertainment and recreational groups. She learned social media, writing, research and public relations as JayRay's intern before joining the staff.

Seattle Repertory Theatre

Seattle Repertory Theatre said Associate Artistic Director Marya Sea Kaminski will leave the organization in June 2018 to become artistic director of Pittsburgh Public Theater. She joined Seattle Rep in 2014, and is a director, writer, and producer. Kaminski co-founded Washington Ensemble Theatre in 2004 and was co-artistic director there for five years.

Dote Coffee Bar

Dote Coffee Bar has opened on the second floor of Bellevue's Lincoln South Food Hall. The co-owners are Sarah Doud, who worked for Seattle Coffee Co. UK, and Chef Ewald Notter. Doud oversees coffee products and Notter creates chocolates and ice cream.

Pride Industries

Pride Industries of Roseville, California, has been awarded a multi-year janitorial contract at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Pride is a nonprofit social enterprise that provides facilities and manufacturing services to business and government while creating jobs for people with disabilities. Sea-Tac has more than 45 million passengers a year and is the ninth busiest U.S. airport. Pride will partner with Evergreen Building Services to operate in the Central Terminal, Concourse C, Concourse D and North Satellite. Pride employs more than 5,600 people.

4Culture

Kelly

Jim Kelly will retire as 4Culture's executive director in March. 4Culture is King County's cultural funding-arm, an independent public agency supporting arts, heritage, preservation and public art, serving Seattle and 38 municipalities. During Kelly's tenure, over $130 million has been distributed to 2,800 individuals and groups. He was hired in 1993 to King County Arts Commission and became director of the Office of Cultural Resources in 1999. It became an independent public agency in 2001 and later renamed 4Culture. 4Culture's board will conduct a search for Kelly's replacement.

New Century Theatre

New Century Theatre Company is closing at the end of the year. It was founded in 2007. For the past three seasons, NCTC has been a resident company at 12th Avenue Arts on Capitol Hill. NCTC said the decision follows the departure of several longtime members to pursue other opportunities. Despite the challenge of running on a lean budget and with a tiny staff, NCTC said it is debt free.

Phillips Burgess

Phillips Burgess said Managing Partner Heather Burgess was chosen as a 2017 Boss of the Year honoree by Thurston County Chamber, along with Jim Larson from Morningside and Dave Nickerson of Tumwater Valley Golf Course. The award honors leaders for innovation, communication, vision and performance. Nominations are submitted by employees. Saint Martin's University business students help interview finalists and gather data for the selection committee.

Washington Federal

Washington Federal said that effective Jan. 1 Michelle Coons will lead the New Mexico territory as senior vice president and regional president, replacing Bill Synnamon, who is retiring. Coons will maintain offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Washington Federal operates 237 branches in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Nevada and New Mexico.
