Zoom+Care

Frerichs

Bill Frerichs is the new CEO at Zoom+Care in Portland, replacing co-founder Dr. Dave Sanders. Frerichs was senior vice president of retail health for two years at the company. Prior to that, he was vice president of store operations for Target. Zoom+Care provides retail and digital health care, with 37 clinics in Portland and Seattle. It was recently acquired by PeaceHealth.








Garvey Schubert Barer

Stan Barer of the law firm Garvey Schubert Barer was honored last month in Beijing for his contributions to U.S.-China relations over the past 40 years, including negotiating the resumption of shipping between the countries in 1979. Barer received the Award of Achievement by the Western Returned Scholars Association Entrepreneur Alliance, a Chinese government-affiliated entity consisting of more than 40,000 Chinese scholars and researchers who have studied abroad. GSB has offices in Seattle, Portland, Washington, D.C., New York City and Beijing.

McDowell

Seattle-based business, finance and information technology consulting firm Zeevo Group added Paul W. McDowell to its advisory board. McDowell is vice president and treasurer of Scottsdale, Arizona-based GoDaddy. He is a senior finance executive with more than 20 years of experience, working at British Airways, Covidien and Medtronic.








First Financial Northwest

In Renton, First Financial Northwest Bank appointed Randy Riffle as executive vice president and chief credit officer. Riffle was a member of Key Bank's Pacific region executive team and has 20 years of banking experience.

City of Seattle

The Seattle Office of Economic Development launched FutureFounders VR Fellowship, a paid, four-month training program in virtual reality app development. The goal is to create career pathways for underserved communities.

Kraft

Andrew Q. Kraft joined Seattle-based Maven as chief revenue and strategy officer. Kraft comes from AppNexus, where he led strategic partnerships. He also spent years building the membership base for Interactive Advertising Bureau. Seattle-based Maven is an expert-driven group media network platform.









Precept Wine

Nelson

Lindsey Nelson was promoted to marketing director of the Grape & Grain division at Precept Wine in Seattle. Nelson was an intern at Precept while obtaining her bachelor's degree in marketing and international business from the University of Washington. She became sales coordinator upon graduation and moved into the Grape & Grain division in 2013, where she was promoted in 2015 to brand manager.








Impinj

Mecklai

In Seattle, RFID technology company Impinj hired Hussein Mecklai as executive vice president of engineering. Mecklai has over 20 years of experience leading engineering organizations, most recently as vice president and general manager of the product architecture group at Intel. He is leading Impinj's entire engineering organization.








El Centro de La Raza

Seattle-based El Centro de La Raza is seeking people interested in careers in financial services. Participants in the workforce development program must be 18 years old, have a GED and six months of customer service experience, be authorized to work in the U.S. and not have an adult criminal record.
