Attorney Bethany Kelsch joined the Seattle office of Stoel Rives. Kelsch counsels private owners and developers on various real estate and real property matters, with an emphasis in title due diligence and resolution of easement and boundary matters. She started her legal career at a commercial real estate management and brokerage company, where she learned both the business and legal sides of the real estate trade.
Greater Seattle Partners and Korea SMEs & Startups Agency signed a deal to promote knowledge sharing, strengthen ties and foster relationships with small- and medium-sized Korean enterprises looking to open in the Seattle area. The deal coincides with KOSME opening a business incubator in Seattle, its first in the Pacific Northwest.
Swedish bed company Duxiana moved to Suite 130 in Bellevue's Design Market, at 1048 116th Ave. N.E. It replaces Duxiana's store on 102nd Street in Bellevue.

Spokane-based PotlatchDeltic hired Michele Tyler as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Tyler has over 20 years of law experience, most recently as senior vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Vectrus in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She will succeed Lorrie Scott, who is retiring at year end. PotlatchDeltic is a REIT that owns timberlands in Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota and Mississippi. Through a subsidiary, it also operates six sawmills, a plywood mill, residential and commercial real estate developments, and a rural timberland sales program.
T-Mobile opened a lab in Bellevue that tests smartphones and other devices that will connect to the 5G spectrum. The 20,000-square-foot lab has over a dozen testing areas where engineers analyze everything from network signal quality to software.
The Department of Energy awarded Hanford Site contractor Mission Support Alliance an honorable mention in the Outstanding Sustainability Program/Project category of its 2019 Sustainability Awards. Hanford contractors last year installed LED lighting, downsized transformers, dismantled outdated roadway lighting and updated ventilation systems. That helped save over 1.2 million kilowatt hours of electricity. Mission Support Alliance is the team of Leidos and Centerra Group.

King County Executive Dow Constantine appointed John Diaz as director of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention. The department has five divisions: King County Correctional Facility, Maleng Regional Justice Center, Juvenile Detention, Administration, and Community Corrections. Diaz was interim director since April and was Seattle police chief from 2010 to 2013. He began his career at the Seattle Police Department in 1980 as a patrol officer. The County Council must approve his appointment.
Seattle-based Moz, a search engine optimizer, hired Rob Ousbey as vice president of product; and promoted Willow Mack to vice president of customer enablement and Michael Cole to vice president of engineering. Ousbey has over a decade of online search experience, most recently as vice president at online marketing agency Distilled. Mack has over 20 years of customer enablement experience. Cole is an experienced program manager.
Seattle-based Amazon is planning to open a 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in West Jordan, Utah, that is expected to create 800 full-time jobs. The project is being developed by Seefried Industrial Properties. A schedule was not available.
