In Seattle, KeyBank hired Tod Finley as a senior vice president and lender on the Washington Commercial Banking team. Finley comes from JP Morgan Chase, where he was executive director of the commercial banking team and developed relationships with companies having operating revenues between $20 million and $500 million.
Sarcos Robotics hired Jim Ryder as executive vice president and chief revenue officer in its Bellevue office. Ryder has over 20 years of experience as a sales, marketing and operations executive for various technology businesses, including Essen Bioscience, Advanced Microscopy Group, Clearwire Corp. and Nextel Partners. The company also hired Dr. Denis Garagic as chief scientist of advanced systems and AI for its subsidiary Sarcos Defense in Salt Lake City, and promoted Tom Jackson to executive vice president and general manager of Sarcos Defense. Salt Lake City-based Sarcos Robotics makes full-body exoskeleton robots for industrial and military applications.
Tacoma-based US Post Acute Care formed an alliance with Cosan Group to improve care for high-risk patients using management and analytics tools. Cosan's clinical administrators use evidence-based risk assessments, chart reviews and remote interviews to create a snapshot of patients' health status between clinical visits. US Post Acute Care provides management services for post-acute clinics.
Tacoma-based blue collar staffing firm PeopleReady won a gold Stevie award for its JobStack app, a 24/7 staffing solution that fills a job every 9 seconds. The award was part of the 18th Annual American Business Awards program. PeopleReady is a TrueBlue company.
Kirkland-based Wave Broadband and related companies RCN Telecom Services and Grande Communications pledged $100,000 to Feeding America to support local food banks in their service areas. Wave provides fiber and broadband services in Washington, Oregon and California. RCN serves areas of Massachusetts, Chicago, Pennsylvania, New York City and Washington, D.C. Grande operates in Texas.

Lake Oswego, Oregon-based Vesta secured $125 million in growth capital from private equity firm Goldfinch Partners of Seattle. The funds will enable Vesta to invest in growth and continue the global deployment of its fraud protection and e-commerce payment solutions. Goldfinch launched in 2018 and is led by Sean Collins, formerly of BCG, and Bill McNichols, formerly of Starbucks and Vulcan Capital.
Seattle-based POSaBIT sold its subsidiary DoubleBeam to financial tech company OLB Group. POSaBIT bought DoubleBeam in early 2018 to support its entry into the cannabis point-of-sale market using DoubleBeam's hardware and software capabilities. The sale to OLB was an all-cash deal. Other details were not disclosed. POSaBIT is a financial tech company focused on point-of-sale systems for cash-only businesses, especially those in the cannabis industry.
Lineage Logistics of Novi, Michigan, signed a deal to acquire Henningsen Cold Storage Co. of Hillsboro, Oregon. Financial terms were not disclosed. Henningsen operates 14 temperature-controlled warehouses across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Pennsylvania, North Dakota and Oklahoma. It was founded in 1923 under the name Northwestern Ice & Cold Storage. The deal is expected to close in the coming months.
SAP and Beaverton, Oregon-based Gurobi Optimization signed a 10-year agreement to collaborate on innovations that will improve mathematical optimization within SAP's software. Gurobi develops mathematical optimization software used by over 40 industries to solve their complex problems and make automated decisions that optimize their efficiency and profitability. SAP develops enterprise application software.
