Molina Healthcare

Molina Healthcare of Washington is collaborating with Family Education & Support Services to support at-risk moms and their families who are supported by the Evidence-Based Home Visitation program called Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP). PCAP is a case management model that currently serves more than 1,400 families across Washington state. Molina has donated 750 care packages that include personal protective equipment, and information on mental health, substance use disorder, and local resources available to families. Molina also assembled and provided pandemic safety kits. These resources have been delivered to all 15 PCAP sites across the state. Molina has been providing government-funded care for low-income individuals for over 20 years.

Hunter Communications

Hunter Communications, a fiber-optic communications services provider in southern Oregon and northern California, has been awarded $8,223,340 from the California Advanced Services Fund to provide high-speed broadband internet services to the Hoopa Valley Reservation, the largest in the state of California. The Hoopa Valley Broadband Initiative Project will be a collaboration between the Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District and EnerTribe, a Native-owned consulting firm specializing in planning, funding and building tribally chartered telecommunications infrastructure projects. Founded in 1992, Hunter is headquartered in Medford, Oregon.

Mobile Tech

MTI (Mobile Tech, Inc.) and siffron announced they are partnering to accelerate the retail industry's digital transformation to smart retail. The siffron and MTI partnership combines intelligent security hardware with cloud-based software to create real-time visibility into merchandised product performance. Ohio-based siffron provides solutions in the retail display and loss prevention industry. MTI, a global solutions provider in retail security and smart retail is headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, with offices in Hong Kong, Ireland and London.

Fourfront Contributor

Four of the largest community behavioral health providers in Washington State have formed a new partnership called Fourfront Contributor, an advocacy and leadership coalition that utilizes their collective size and expertise to improve the health of individuals, communities and the systems that serve them. Member organizations include Compass Health, Comprehensive Healthcare, Frontier Behavioral Health and Sound. In 2021, Fourfront Contributor will focus on advocating for legislative support of telehealth in behavioral healthcare delivery.

City of Tacoma

Two Tacoma City Council members have been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2021 federal advocacy committees. District 1 council member John Hines has been appointed to the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Committee and at-large council member Kristina Walker has been appointed to the Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee. Hines and Walker were each elected to a one-year term and will provide direction and guidance for NLC's federal advocacy agenda and policy priorities.

Boise Cascade

Boise Cascade announced that Nick Stokes, executive vice president of the company's Building Materials Distribution (BMD) business, has elected to retire on March 12, with 42 years of service. The board of directors has appointed Jeff Strom to the role of executive vice president of the BMD division. Strom joined Boise Cascade in 2006 in a sales position and became a branch manager in Milton, Florida. He currently serves as vice president & general manager of BMD's Eastern Region, based in Boise.

Standard Insurance

Standard Insurance (The Standard) announced that Dayna Kirk has been promoted to vice president of customer service and voluntary benefits. Since joining The Standard in 1990, Kirk has worked across the Insurance Services Group in a variety of leadership roles, most recently, as assistant vice president of voluntary benefits. In addition, Jeanne Bailey has been promoted to vice president of claims. Bailey joined The Standard in 2010, most recently serving as assistant vice president of policyholder services in employee benefits.

CI Security

CI Security announced the addition of Steve Sedlock as the company's chief revenue officer and the promotion of Kristoffer Turner to vice president of security operations for the Critical Insight Security Operations Centers. Sedlock most recently was the chief growth Officer for EPSi, a provider of financial decision support, budgeting and planning solutions for the healthcare industry. Turner started at CI three-and-a-half years ago as a security analyst. He led the opening of CI's second SOC in Ellensburg, and was instrumental in creating Managed Detection and Response for Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services Environments. CI Security provides Managed Detection Response services, and is focused on defending critical systems in healthcare, the public sector, and other industries.
