Nexus

Pogreba

Tacoma-based Nexus hired David Pogreba as a project manager. Pogreba comes with a background of more than four years in the building enclosure services industry with a specialty in structural analysis. He holds a bachelor and master of civil engineering from the University of Washington. At Nexus he is working with clients such as King County Housing Authority, Kaiser Permanente, and the Department of Enterprise Services. Nexus provides building enclosure design, testing, and commissioning services.

Reperio Health

Preventative wellness startup Reperio Health announced its seed capital raise of $6 million. The Portland-based venture will offer wellness kits containing sensors for an at-home health assessment and biometric screening that provides comprehensive results immediately. The FDA-approved sensors in the Reperio kit include a blood test to measure levels of total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and glucose, in addition to tests for blood pressure, resting heart rate, Body Mass Index and Relative Fat Mass. In addition to its initial launch into the employer market, Reperio's at-home health assessments will be made available to health plans, retirement facilities, fitness and nutrition practitioners and directly to individuals. Reperio's seed round was co-led by Caduceus Capital Partners in Nashville, Tennessee, and Rogue Venture Partners in Portland, with additional investment from Liquid 2 Ventures and G Ventures, both out of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Molina Healthcare

Molina Healthcare of Washington announced the appointment of Dr. Jay Fathi as plan president. In this role, Fathi will lead the health plan's operations and strategic initiatives. Fathi is a native Washingtonian and has been a family physician for more than 25 years. Most recently, he provided national advising and strategic consultation to clients around health care delivery, financing, regulatory issues, public health, and policy, including to support and strengthen the COVID-19 pandemic response. Fathi earned his M.D. from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He serves as a board member on the Washington State Health Innovation Council, Cambia Grove, and the Ballard Food Bank. Molina Healthcare of Washington has been providing government-funded care for low-income individuals for over 20 years.

JayRay

Tacoma-based JayRay announced the addition of Alex Domine as a new JayRay advisor. Domine brings experience in communication strategy for causes from education to the environment to equity, and in sectors spanning nonprofits, technology and economic development. Domine most recently worked as communications director at Charles Wright Academy. JayRay partners with national and regional clients on branding, advertising and strategic communication programs.

City of Tacoma

The city of Tacoma Historic Preservation Office Announced that 2021 Heritage Project Grant applications are available through Friday, April 30, 2021 on its web page. The goal of the program is to support projects that increase public awareness and access to Tacoma's history. Eligible applicants include non-profits and public and educational institutions. Applicants may apply for an award between $1,000 and $10,000 for their project. This is a matching grant with a total of $50,000 in total funds to be granted. The grant requires that applicants demonstrate matching funding for proposed projects, and cannot fund general operating expenses. FarEye

FarEye announced the appointment of Suvrat Joshi as its chief product officer. Joshi brings with him over 20 years of experience in leadership roles at Yahoo, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook and most recently Dropbox. Joshi will be based out of Seattle and will drive product strategy and growth for the company. FarEye also recently announced that it will be hiring 100 tech professionals globally in 2021. FarEye is a predictive logistics SaaS platform designed to streamline operations for industries across retail, manufacturing and transport and logistics.

Sound Transit

Robinson

Jonte Robinson has been named Sound Transit's new chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. Robinson has been with Sound Transit since 2015, most recently serving as the acting chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. Prior to that, she helped establish the agency's equal employment opportunity program, lead the Title VI program and served as deputy director of civil rights. Key priorities for Robinson include leading Sound Transit's anti-racist strategy focused on economic development opportunities, career development, community partnerships and accountability. Prior to joining Sound Transit, Robinson was the Title VI coordinator and a human resource consultant with the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Farallon Consulting

Farallon Consulting hired Steffran Neff to the newly created role of chief operating officer. Neff will oversee Farallon's day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives. Neff's career spans the environmental and engineering consulting industries. She holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Farallon Consulting is a 100 percent employee-owned environmental and engineering consulting firm founded in 1998, with headquarters in Issaquah.

Auth0

Bellevue-base Auth0, announced that Jameeka Green Aaron has joined the company as chief information security officer. Aaron brings more than 20 years of industry experience and will be responsible for the holistic security and compliance of Auth0's platform, products, and corporate environment. Aaron previously held positions at Nike, Hurley, Lockheed Martin, and the U.S. Navy. She sits on the board of the California Women Veterans Leadership Council, and is an advisor for U.C. Riverside Design Thinking Program. Auth0 provides a platform to authenticate, authorize, and secure access for applications, devices, and users.
