TrueBlue

Tacoma-based TrueBlue, a provider of specialized workforce solutions, announced that its chief people officer, Andrea Brogger, has been named one of the 10 most influential HR leaders in the United States by Insights Success magazine. Brogger was cited for her innovation in HR, her employee engagement efforts, and her focus on connectivity between people strategy and business results. Brogger has been with TrueBlue since 2011. She was named the company's chief people officer in 2020. Prior to her current role, she served as the vice president of global talent and culture at TrueBlue.

Oversea Casing

Oversea Casing, a producer of natural sausage casings, has changed the name of its sales and distribution unit in Mexico to Oversea Casing S. de RL. de CV. Oversea Casing purchased the parent company, DeWied International, in 2018 for an undisclosed amount, combining two industry leaders and more than doubling production and distribution for Oversea Casing. Formerly known as DeWied Internacional de México S de RL. de CV, the change comes as the company completes the integration of the two organizations and consolidates operations globally. DeWied Internacional has been operating in Mexico for more than 30 years. Although the unit now operates under a new name, all other aspects of operations remain the same. Oversea Casing has been family owned and operated for more than three generations, and is headquartered in Seattle.

Idaho Central Credit Union

Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) selected Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group (AFIG) as its broker-dealer. By leveraging the Ameriprise platform, ICCU established a wealth management program, Idaho Central Wealth Management. AFIG partners with community banks and credit unions to help their clients reach their goals through financial planning and investment. Through the new relationship, ICCU members have access to a full range of services and solutions from Ameriprise. Ameriprise formed its Financial Institutions Group after acquiring Investment Professionals 2017 and specializes in the on-site delivery of investment programs to banks and credit unions. ICCU was organized as a state-chartered credit union in 1940. The credit union's administrative office is located in Chubbuck, Idaho, and has 41 locations throughout the state of Idaho.

GlossWire

GlossWire awarded female-founded skincare brand Base Butter $10,000 in its inaugural beauty pitch competition. The competition took place in two phases. The first took place in February, where GlossWire's beauty brands applied and submitted videos pitching their brands. The field was narrowed to 10 top finalists and the brands were then given the chance to compete live at the virtual global GlossPitch event, moderated by Fashwire CEO and founder Kimberly Carney. The 1st place prize was awarded to She'Neil Johnson-Spence and Nicolette Graves, co-founders of Base Butter. The 2nd place $2,500 prize was awarded to Melissa Lis, founder of skincare brand Jumby. The 3rd place $1,500 prize was awarded as a tie to Ginger King, founder of clean vegan beauty brand FanLoveBeauty, and Scarlett Rocourt, founder of haircare brand Wonder Curl. Seattle-based Fashwire's app and web-based shopping platform provides its portfolio of 350+ designers real-time data and insights into consumer shopping behavior patterns. Fashwire recently expanded into the beauty industry with its launch of GlossWire Beauty.

Washington State Parks

Washington State Parks announced that nearly 55 group camps in 52 state parks that normally open in March have just re-opened. The remaining group camps will open at the time they normally open for the season. Additionally, 88 day-use shelters in 57 state parks have reopened. The remaining group camps will reopen on their normal schedules. Occupancy at group camps and day-use shelters will be limited to a maximum of 50 occupants. Clearwater Analytics

Boise-based Clearwater Analytics has named Marcus Ryu to its board of directors. Ryu joins two other recent additions to Clearwater's board, Jacques Aigrain and Kathleen Corbet. Ryu has served as Guidewire's chairman of the board of directors since August 2019. Ryu cofounded Guidewire in 2001, and served as CEO from 2010 to 2019, leading Guidewire through its IPO in 2012. Previously, he was vice president of strategy at Ariba and an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. Ryu currently serves on the board of directors of Bloomreach and Checkr. Clearwater Analytics is a SaaS solution for automated investment data aggregation, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting.

Innovative Packaging Co.

Shore Capital Partners announced it has completed a partnership with Innovative Packaging Company (IPC), a custom packaging solutions provider based in Vancouver. IPC was founded in 2012 by Jeremy and Matt Concannon as a custom packaging distribution business. IPC's core service offerings include packaging procurement, supply chain management, warehousing, and custom design services. Shore Capital is a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on microcap investments within the Healthcare, Food and Beverage, and Business Services industries.

Suquamish Tribe

The Suquamish Tribe voted to fill five Tribal council positions up for election this year at the Tribe's annual general council gathering. The council members re-elected are: chairman, Leonard Forsman; position 1, Rich Purser; position 2, Sammy Mabe; and position 3, Luther (Jay) Mills Jr. The new member on the council is Windy Anderson, elected as Secretary. Other members of the council, whose seats were not up for election this year, are vice-chairman Wayne George and treasurer Robin Little Wing Sigo. The Suquamish Tribal Council is the governing body of the Suquamish Tribe, elected by Tribal citizens during their annual general council meeting. With approximately 1,200 citizens, Suquamish Tribe is a federally recognized sovereign nation.

Washington Trust Bank

Washington Trust Bank introduced Peter Skovron and Michael Jakositz as the leading bankers behind the bank's new private banking practice in Bellevue. This month marks the one-year anniversary of the practice. Skovron joined the bank as senior vice president and team leader of private banking practice. Previously a managing director at a national bank, Skovron brings nearly three decades of experience in private banking and wealth management. Jakositz joined the bank as vice president and relationship manager and has over 25 years of experience in private banking and wealth management. He most recently served as a vice president at a national bank's private wealth management group. Washington Trust Bank is the largest independently owned full-service commercial bank in the Northwest, serving the region since 1902.

Seattle-based ad-tech startup Jove announced that it is offering its recently launched flagship product, Creative Insights, free to use for nonprofits. Creative Insights by Jove uses data to spark actionable insights that inspire creative concepts and optimization across all marketing activities from creative development, brand management and media buying. David Atchison is Jove Founder & CEO. Before Jove, Atchison started New Engen, a digital marketing company serving SMB and enterprise businesses, and has served as CMO at Zulily. Ryan Turner, Jove CMO, started as a writer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Most recently, Turner worked at Amazon, where he led a team running experimentation programs in digital media.

Strike Graph, a compliance automation startup, hired Dan Adams as its new vice president of sales. Based in Chicago, Adams brings 25 years of experience as a sales vice president and executive in technology. At Strike Graph, Adams is a member of the leadership team with responsibility for global sales, which includes managing all aspects of the go to market strategy, customer acquisition and demand generation. Founded in 2020 by Justin Beals and Brian Bero, Strike Graph helps companies of all sizes pass their cybersecurity audits with a scalable security program. Strike Graph is based in Seattle.
