Airgroup Express, a Bellevue-based full service air and sea transportation company, has opened two new cargo facilities in San Antonio and Tulsa. Debi Saied will manage the Tulsa terminal and Wayne Atkinson will be responsible for the San Antonio terminal.
The Strategic Leadership Forum (SLF) announced that the annual Peter F. Drucker Strategic Leadership Award has been given to Federal Express Corporation Chairman, President and CEO Frederick Smith. He is the first recipient to succeed Peter Drucker, who received the award named for him in 1996. Smith was selected for his role as founder of Federal Express, which led to the creation of a global industry and has been a catalyst for the transformation of many other industries.
Giant Bicycle of Rancho Dominguez, Calif. has chosen the Seattle advertising agency of Hammerquist & Saffel as its new brand partner. With its newly developed design department, H & S will be able to function as more than an advertising agency for Giant.
