Mark Robison was recently named general manager and member of Lexus of Seattle, located in Lynnwood and recently acquired by Kuni Enterprises Inc. Robison formerly held positions with Kuni Enterprises Inc.'s Portland area auto dealerships.
John E. Kerekanich has been named regional sales manager for Ford Division's Seattle region. Kerekanich replaces Lee Oliphant, who has been appointed government fleet sales manager for Ford Motor Co. in Detroit. Kerekanich formerly served as franchising manager at Ford Division's Detroit headquarters.
Lynn A. Rowley has been named assistant vice president of operations at Rigel Capital Management. Rowley formerly served as administrative principal for the Washington Investment Center at US Bancorp Investments. Rigel Capital Management is a Seattle-based investment company.
U.S. Bank recently named Bill Robinson vice president of private asset management in its Private Financial Services Group. Robinson formerly served as sales manager for the U.S. Bank offices in Seattle.
Edelman Public Relations Worldwide recently hired Kelsy Chauvin as assistant account executive for its new Seattle office. Chauvin formerly served as manager of internal public relations services at Hammerquist & Halverson.
Tim Girvin Design Inc. recently opened a studio dedicated to broadcast and film design. Film and television designer Terri Bassett recently joined Girvin's new studio and technical director T.J. Holleran was transferred to the studio. Tim Girvin Design Inc. is a Seattle-based brand and image management firm.
Union-Street.com, a Seattle-based developer of interactive applications for Web sites, recently hired Brian Oaks as vice president of sales. Oaks formerly held a position in national business development and partner marketing with Sprynet.

The Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County recently appointed H. Roger Qualman, executive vice president and manager of Norris, Beggs & Simpson, to its board of directors. The mission of the Economic Development Council is to retain and recruit family-wage jobs in King County. Norris, Beggs & Simpson is a Portland-based real estate brokerage, asset and property management and mortgage financing firm.
John Akin was recently elected president of the Puget Sound Blood Center Board of Trustees. Akin has served on the board for four years. Fred Tilton, medical director for the Boeing Company, has joined the Board of Trustees.
Larry Shannon was recently appointed to the Sound Transit Citizen Oversight Panel. The panel is comprised of citizens throughout the Sound Transit three-county district and serves as an independent body responsible for reviewing the performance of Sound Transit. Shannon is currently chair of the Bellevue Transportation Commission and the King County Citizens Water Quality Advisory Committee. Bruce Agnew, Diane Carlson, Steve Goldblatt, Fred Hart, Kristi Mandt, David Osaki, Reid Shockey and Al Stipe were re-appointed to three-year terms.

Cost-U-Less recently opened its 11th retail store in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Cost-U-Less, a Bellevue-based operator of warehouse "club style" retail stores, plans to open stores in Aruba and St. Maarten later this year.
