Al Levine, Seattle Housing Authority's (SHA) director of development and asset management since May, will become deputy executive director. Levine replaces Doris Koo, outgoing deputy executive director. Levine comes to the post with more than 12 years of planning and development experience at SHA. Kathy Roseth joined SHA as the director of PorchLight, the agency's new housing center located in Ballard.
PAR3 CommunicationsT, a Seattle-based provider of customer relationship management, announced the appointment of Steve Zirkel as director of business development. Zirkel's primary responsibilities include building the indirect sales channels and alliances with system integrators and technology partners. Prior to joining PAR3, Zirkel was global manager of the applications service provider program for Aspect Communications, where he was responsible for creating the hosted applications business
Greg Baker has been named as senior finance officer of the Bellevue-based finance division. Baker is a University of Washington graduate and has been involved in commercial real estate finance in the Puget Sound for over 20 years. His background includes originating construction and permanent loans for insurance companies, conduits, banks, and private lenders.
John Gleason has joined the Seattle management team as project director for the portfolio of industrial properties managed by Spieker. Gleason's 15-year real estate career includes working with several national real estate companies, overseeing the management and leasing activities of industrial parks, commercial office buildings, as well as multi-property portfolios.
Richard Lyon and Charlie Laboda have joined the Harbor Properties' development division. Lyon will act as assistant project manager, bringing more than nine years of diverse real estate development experience with him. He previously served as project manager for real estate projects for various companies, including ERA Care, Development Consulting, Morse Brothers, and Heartland Consulting. Laboda will take on the role of project manager, leading the construction of new multi-use projects. Prior to joining Harbor Properties, he was vice president of Dally Homes, Inc. and has been involved in the development and construction fields in the Northwest since 1985.
