Publicis in the West, a communications agency with offices in Seattle, announced the appointment of
Stephanie Peirolo as the agency’s director of business development. She is responsible for building new business opportunities and developing key strategic relationships within the industry. Prior to joining Publicis, Peirolo held several key management and sales positions at KCPQ-TV, Worldstream Communications, Northwest Cable News and TCI Cable Advertising.

John O'Donnell, both lawyers at the Seattle law firm Ogden Murphy Wallace, have been named to the 2001 "Best Lawyers in America" list. Foster heads the firm's personal law group. He is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. O'Donnell heads the firm's tax practice group. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Washington Law School.
Golf Savings Bank and Pacific Northwest Golf Association will jointly raise money for the non-profit organization's golf programs called "Golf Savings for the Future." When members of PNGA sign up for any of a variety of bank products, a percentage of every dollar invested will be donated to the PNGA and earmarked for various activities.
Mark Nadler has been elected partner at the Seattle law firm Short Cressman & Burgess. Nadler, a registered professional civil engineer, represents clients in legal matters involving environmental, engineering and construction law issues.
T. Lee Humphreys has been named to the U.S. Activities of Foreigners & Tax Treaties Committee of the American Bar Association's section of taxation. Humphries practices in the Tacoma office of Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, Malanca, Peterson & Daheim. The committee is principally interested in the U.S. federal income tax consequences of, and planning for, U.S. investments and activities by foreign investors.

Julie LaFramboise has been named field marketing manager for Integra Telecom of Washington, a Kent-based integrated communications provider. LaFramboise will oversee advertising, public relations and product and business development in the state. She joins the company from AT&T where she was an account executive.

Carl Lovsted, owner of the Lovsted Co. in Seattle, and
Dean Young, owner of Worthington Insurance in Bothell, jointly announced the formation of Lovsted–Worthington, LLC. The two organizations have commenced business as the new entity, with each operating at their existing facility locations. The merger places Lovsted-Worthington in the top 15 locally owned independent insurance agencies in the Puget Sound area, ranked by size. The combined experience and resources enabled them to strengthen current insurance and risk management services.

Weber Marketing Group, a Seattle-based advertising agency, has hired
Jeffry Pilcher as creative director. Pilcher will assume responsibility for the agency’s 10-person creative staff and oversee the development of advertising and branding materials for the firm’s clients. Prior to joining Weber, Pilcher was creative director for Sharp Advertising in Las Vegas and executive creative director for AMG, an Anchorage advertising agency.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has honored King County for its comprehensive annual financial reporting. King County's 1999 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
David Brine has been selected as director of communications and marketing for the Washington State School Director's Association (WSSDA). Brine has served the past 13 years as communications director for the Washington State Office of the Secretary of State.
