PRR, a Seattle-based public affairs consultancy, announced that Keri Shoemaker has joined the firm as an account executive in its public relations group. Shoemaker has worked at Kirkland-based HomeGrocer.com as both a marketing coordinator and public relations specialist.
The KMC Group, a Bellevue-based technology public relations firm, announced the promotion of Eric Wiegers to vice president. Wiegers brings more than 20 years of communications experience in public relations and journalism, and over the past several months, has been integral in enhancing the firm's business practices while providing account management.
Qbeo, a North Bend-based provider of imaging technology and interactive television services, announced Nick Neumann has joined the company as vice president of interactive television. Neumann, a former executive for The Golf Channel and Lifetime TV, will be responsible for the marketing and selling of QBeo’s interactive TV imaging solution to broadband distributors such as cable, DSL and wireless providers.
Pacific Northwest Bancorp announced that all 55 of its banking subsidiary financial centers are now operating under the Pacific Northwest Bank name. Customers of Pacific Northwest Bank are now able to conduct all of their financial service business at any of its 55 centers, or 60 full-service ATMs located in 18 counties throughout Washington.

Tamara Reece has joined the personal insurance division of Kibble & Prentice, a Seattle-based financial services firm. Reece joins the firm as an account manager. She was formerly with AON Risk Services in Seattle.
Foster Pepper & Shefelman announced that Reese Solberg and Jennifer Scully have joined the firm as associates in the Seattle law office. Solberg focuses his practice on intellectual property and trademark law with emphasis on intellectual property licensing. Scully focuses on intellectual property with an emphasis on trademark matters.
Bartell Drugs has announced store manager changes at two locations. Don Charnholm, formerly the manager at the Kingsgate store in Kirkland, will manage the Houghton location in Kirkland. Laura Rodewald is the new manager of the Kingsgate store. She was formerly the manager at the Houghton location.
The Ackerley Group, a Seattle-based media company, announced a $1 million gift to the Seattle Public Library Foundation. Additionally, the Ginger and Barry Ackerley Foundation announced a $42,000 grant to underwrite Seattle Public Library's annual Children's Book Week celebration for the next three years. The $1 million gift is one of the Ackerley Group's largest grants to a non-profit organization and will support the foundation's Campaign for Seattle Public Libraries.
Alaska Airlines has announced the appointment of Terri Maupin to staff vice president/finance and controller, and Michael Lee to the newly created position of director of e-ventures. Maupin will be responsible for accounting and financial reporting at the airline. Lee will be responsible for consumer marketing on the airline's Web site and will handle Web site promotions, partnerships and traffic.
Kent Mayor Jim White has appointed Mike Martin interim chief administrative officer, effective May 14. Martin started with the city in January as deputy chief administrative officer. His primary responsibilities have been oversight of the public works and community development functions, including Kent's new one-stop permit center
