Brad McKeown was named CFO for Aviation Partners Boeing. McKeown was previously vice president finance for a major manufacturer of commercial aircraft interiors in the Seattle area.
Eric Miller joined the staff of Lynnwood's Network Mortgage Services as a loan originator. He was previously with the sales department at Hard Drives Northwest of Bellevue. Miller will be responsible for originating Network Mortgage Services loans in King and Snohomish counties.
Barry E. Johnston, Washington State University director of business services/controller, has been appointed chairman of the 15-person advisory council for the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association College Retirement Equities Fund, TIAA/CREF. Johnston is a current advisory council member with two years left on his appointment. He will serve a one-year term as chairman.
Christina L. Corwin has joined the firm of Reed, Longyear, Malnati & Ahrens. Corwin will practice family law for the firm.
Randall C. Jimerson, Western Washington University history professor, was elected to serve as vice president for 2003-2004 and president for 2004-2005 of the Society of American Archivists. He currently directs the graduate archives and records management program in the history department at Western.

Banner Bank hired Corey Ross as associate client manager for its corporate and community banking lending center in Spokane. Before joining Banner, Ross was a vice president for LSQ Funding Group and also served as a business development officer for Bank of America. Banner is headquartered in Walla Walla, and operates 41 branch offices and seven loan offices in 19 counties in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Columbia Bank named Kari Knudson senior vice president and manager of its Seattle private banking office. Knudson was previously with Key Bank Private Banking in Seattle. Columbia Bank is a Washington state-chartered, full-service commercial bank.
Mike McKay has been approved by the U.S. Senate as a member of the board of directors of the Legal Services Corp. McKay is a partner in McKay Chadwell, a Seattle law firm specializing in counsel to corporations and corporate officers involved in civil, regulatory and criminal issues with government agencies. Legal Services Corp. is a private, nonprofit corporation established by Congress to ensure that Americans have access to legal services for civil matters such as domestic disputes and wrongful evictions.
David Friedman has been named vice president of marketing at Connexion by Boeing. Friedman most recently was an independent consultant, and associated with The Northridge Group. Connexion by Boeing is a business unit of The Boeing Co. bringing commercial broadband data services to commercial and executive aircraft, to provide passengers and crew with access to e-mail, e-commerce, the Internet, firewall-protected intranet access, news and entertainment.
Dr. Marilyn Gist is the new director of the executive leadership program at The Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University. Gist has been executive director of the leadership development firm Millennium Resources since 1992. She was professor at the University of Washington School of Business from 1987 to 2002, serving as the Boeing endowed professor of business management, and was faculty director of the UW's Executive MBA Program. The executive leadership program is a development program for mid- and senior level management executives.
