Helsell Fetterman

Helsell Fetterman, a Seattle-based law firm, named Larry Setchell and Darla Goodwin partners and hired Joshua Whited and Bruce Cyra as lawyers. Setchell's practice concentrates on complex product liability, environmental and business litigation; Goodwin has a family law practice that focuses on complex property and financial issues; Whited's practice focuses on land use, environmental and administrative matters; and Cyra's practice focuses on defending contractors and subcontractors sued for alleged defective construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Oki Golf

Kellie Cox was appointed director of catering at The Golf Club in Newcastle, an Oki Golf property. Cox, former senior catering sales manager for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, will be responsible for sales, marketing budgets, advertising and prospecting for new business. Oki Golf is a golf ownership and management company based in Bellevue.

Affiliated Computer Services

Affiliated Computer Services, a Dallas-based provider of business process outsourcing and information technology services, acquired Patient Accounting Services Center. PASC, based in Kent, is involved in revenue cycle management in the health care provider industry, including billing, accounts receivables and collections services.

Color Me Mine

Color Me Mine, a North Hollywood, Calif.-based "paint-your-own-ceramics" franchise chain, opened its first Washington location at 2226 Queen Anne Ave. N. in Seattle. The studio will offer classes for adults and kids, as well as a party table for birthdays, showers, corporate functions and fundraisers. On Monday evenings free pizza and beverages are available to customers while they paint. Christy de Jong owns the Queen Anne franchise.

The Beach House at Purdy

The Tacoma News-Tribune named The Beach House at Purdy, a restaurant in Gig Harbor that offers Northwest cuisine, Best Restaurant in South Puget Sound. The Beach House recently promoted Trish Hosea to restaurant manager. Hosea has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and was a lead server prior to her promotion.

Columbia Bank

Columbia Bank, a Tacoma-based commercial bank, promoted Nigel English, vice president and commercial banking officer, to manager of the bank's Allenmore branch. English, who began his career with Columbia as assistant manager in consumer services, will oversee operations and loan production.

Nordstrom

Nordstrom will open a new store at Dadeland Mall in Miami. The Seattle retailer will take over space previously occupied by a Lord & Taylor store. Dadeland Mall is owned by Simon Property Group in a 50/50 partnership with Prime Property Fund.

University of Phoenix

University of Phoenix in Puget Sound moved to two new campuses in Bellevue and Tacoma that will offer on site classes and online classes in undergraduate and graduate programs. University of Phoenix is a private university that offers higher education for adults with work experience.
