Tacoma-based Columbia Bank named Mark W. Nelson, executive vice president and senior credit officer, chief banking officer. Prior to joining Columbia, Nelson held senior positions with Evergreen Bank and Bank of America, as well as loan-related positions with Puget Sound Bank and Bank of California.
Parker Smith & Feek, a Bellevue-based insurance brokerage, hired Walt Isler as an account executive. Isler has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Davis Wright Tremaine, a Bellevue-based business and litigation law firm, named Michael A. Breda director of marketing. Previously, Breda was managing partner at The Breda Group and held senior management positions with Ingalls Moranville Advertising and Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising.
Month of Meals opened a new location at 18005 N.E. 68th St., Suite A-115, in Redmond. Month of Meals is a Carnation-based service that allows customers to prepare a month's worth of gourmet and home-style meals in a four- to six-hour cooking session.
Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind will recognize George Jacobson for 35 years of service at the annual employee awards ceremony. Jacobson joined Lighthouse as marketing director in 1968 and was later named president. Lighthouse's mission is to create opportunities for independence for people who are blind, deaf-blind or blind with other disabilities.

Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson, a Seattle-based law firm, named Joseph B. Genster and Howard F. Jensen principals. Genter's practice focuses on civil litigation and land use law. Jensen's practice emphasizes environmental, real estate and land use matters.
Woodmark Hotel & Spa, a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, named Carrie Markle corporate sales manager. Previously, Markle was an account executive for Marriott International and an area director of marketing for Life Care Centers of America. Woodmark is located at Carillon Point in Kirkland.
Oki Golf, a Bellevue-based golf ownership and management company, named Rick Hancock superintendent and Rolly Leonard general manager of Indian Summer Golf & Country Club. Bob Pearsall, former superintendent of Indian Summer, was named superintendent of The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie. Hancock is the former superintendent of the Plateau Club and Leonard is the former general manager of The Golf Club.
Cell Therapeutics, a Seattle-based biopharmaceutical company, made some personnel changes. Steve Aselage was named executive vice president, global commercial operations. Jack W. Singer, former research program chair, was named chief medical officer and Silvano Spinelli was appointed executive vice president of development and managing director of operations. Edward E. Kenney retired as chief operating officer but will remain an advisor to the CEO. Giuseppe Dastoli was named vice president, business and commercial operations - Europe. Silvia Comas will replace M. Gabriella Camboni as director of development - Europe.
Schwartz Brothers Restaurants named Kevin Rohr, former executive chef of McCormick & Schmick's Harborside Restaurant, chef of Chandler's Crabhouse. Rohr was once a chef at the restaurant prior to becoming executive chef of Six Seven at The Edgewater. Chandler's is located in Seattle.
