Pyramid Breweries named John J. Lennon president and chief executive officer. Lennon will be based at Pyramid's headquarters in Seattle. He oversaw operations in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean as CEO of Beck's North America. Pyramid brews specialty beers and sodas under the Pyramid and Thomas Kemper brand names, and operates the Pyramid Brewery & Alehouse in Seattle and Berkeley, Calif., and Pyramid Alehouses in Walnut Creek and Sacramento, Calif.
Lake Chelan Winery recently hired winemaker Ray Sandidge and invested more than $300,000 in equipment upgrades. Sandidge honed his winemaking skills in Europe, as a winemaker in Germany, where he crafted award-winning Rieslings. He plans to use a mix of grapes from the Lake Chelan Winery's home vineyard and grapes from Rivers Bend Vineyard in the Columbia Valley. The winery will also supply other local wineries such as Wapato Point Cellars as well as Sandidge's private label wines.
Larry's Markets named Barry MacKechnie president. He will develop and implement company initiatives outlined by CEO Mark McKinney and the company's board of advisors. MacKechnie was CEO of RevX.net in Bellevue and has 30 years of executive management experience, including work with information technology companies. Seattle-based Larry's Markets is a grocery and retail store with 800 employees at six neighborhood locations.

Columbia Bank named Paul Guilfoil investment executive for CB Investment Services. He will work from the Lakewood branch serving clients in South Pierce County, Olympia and Longview. Guilfoil has 20 years of investment experience and was with the Washington State Employees Credit Union. Columbia is a subsidiary of Columbia Banking System, with 34 branches in Pierce, King, Cowlitz, Kitsap and Thurston counties.
Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings named Regina Hall chief executive officer in its Seattle office. Willis has 300 offices in 80 countries.
Lauren S. Fortune is Central Washington University's development officer for the college of business and library science. Fortune directed donor relations at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Fortune was also a consultant to Fortune Publications Management in Seattle and was editor of corporate communications at Microsoft in Redmond.
Seattle City Council appointed former Puget Sound Energy Vice President Gary B. Swofford to the Seattle City Light advisory board. Swofford has more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry. He is general manager of Swofford Energy Consulting. The six-member board advises elected officials and utility managers on City Light finances, power supply and risk management.
KremeWorks USA, the regional developer for Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, named Jayson Levich market partner of business development and Christi Sanchez market director. Levich will be responsible for business development in wholesale, fundraising and delivery in Washington state. Sanchez will manage factory store operations in Washington state. Sanchez was general manager of the Krispy Kreme factory store in Seattle. Krispy Kreme has more than 380 stores in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Mexico and the U.K.
