Inland Northwest Partners

Maury Forman, PhD., director of education and training for the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development, received the Hall of Fame Award from Inland Northwest Partners, a regional economic development organization. INP honors people for their support of economic growth in the Inland Northwest.

Dwango Wireless

Seattle-based Dwango Wireless, a developer and publisher of mobile entertainment content, has changed its name to Dijji Corp. The company also announced Paul Quinn has resigned as chief financial officer to pursue other opportunities. Michael Dunn, currently controller, will serve as chief financial officer.

Great Wolf Resorts

Great Wolf Resorts, a Madison, Wis.-based developer of indoor waterpark resorts, named Bill Croke as executive vice president of operations, responsible for the Great Wolf Lodge and Blue Harbor Resort brands. A Great Wolf Lodge is under development in Chehalis.

Northwest Indian Bar Association

The Northwest Indian Bar Association has given $13,500 in scholarships to 11 Northwest Native law students to support Indian students seeking a legal education. In three years, NIBA and its sister-group, the Washington State Bar Association Indian Law Section, have donated nearly $70,000 for scholarships for Indian lawyers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.

Providence Hospice of Seattle

Diane Landsinger has joined Providence Hospice of Seattle as volunteer services supervisor. Chaya Kaplan-Schoenberg has joined as manager of quality and staff development. The Seattle-based organization's staff and volunteers provide care for children, adults and their families living with life-limiting illness throughout King County.

RocketDog Communications

Tim Kordik has joined RocketDog Communications as senior design generator and Carolyn Freeborn has joined as officer of new frontiers. RocketDog Communications is a Pioneer Square-based graphic design firm.

The Port of Tacoma

The Port of Tacoma promoted Dorcas Nepple to director of contracts and purchasing. Nepple manages a staff of nine and is responsible for all public procurement activities for the port. She is a member of the Northwest Construction Consumer Council currently serving as vice chair and the designated chairperson for 2006. She is also a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.

Cairncross & Hempelmann

The Seattle-based law firm Cairncross & Hempelmann has named Elizabeth C. Chambers, Andrew S. Lane and Diana S. Shukis principals in the firm. Chambers is a member of the Corporate Finance & Business Transactions Group. Lane is a member of the Land Use, Natural Resources & Environmental Law Group. Shukis is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Employment Law groups.

Getty Images' chief financial officer, Liz Huebner, will retire during the first half of 2006. Huebner has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer since October 2000. She will remain involved in management until a successor is appointed. The Seattle company creates and distributes still and moving images to communication professionals.

Fisher Communications

Fisher Communications announced Judith A. Endejan has been named to the new position of senior vice president general counsel. She has 25 years of experience as a lawyer. She was a shareholder of Graham & Dunn, Fisher's counsel, representing media and telecommunications clients. Fisher is a Seattle-based integrated media company.
