Bellevue-based Resolute Solutions Corp., a business and technology consulting firm, hired Eric Blankenburg as chief technology officer. Blankenburg was vice president of applications and integration at Avanade.

The Partners Group, a Portland-based financial advisory employee benefits and insurance brokerage firm, hired Sandra Coble as director of technical services. Coble has 18 years experience in health care finance and delivery and worked for PacifiCare, overseeing Northwest financial practices.

Fisher Communications

Seattle-based Fisher Communications promoted John Tamerlano, adding the title of vice president of sales to his existing title of vice president and general manager of KATU-TV and KUNP-TV in Portland. Tamerlano has worked in broadcasting for 28 years. Fisher Communications owns and manages 19 television stations and eight radio stations in the Pacific Northwest.

Champion Assistants is a team of professional virtual assistants who specialize in translation, marketing, bookkeeping, human resources and office support services. Destination Hotels & Resorts

Destination Hotels & Resorts hired Ron Olstad as senior vice president of hospitality operations at the Suncadia resort near Roslyn. Olstad has 40 years of experience and spent 25 years with Westin Hotels & Resorts in Seattle. He recently worked with CNL Hotels & Resorts. Suncadia is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in suburban Denver.

Golden Lasso

Golden Lasso, a Seattle-based marketing, communications and design firm, hired Sachiko Kuwabata and Glen Mclean. Kuwabata joins the design team as a designer. She went to Kyoritstu University in Japan. Mclean is an electronic production artist in the production team. He has worked for Eddie Bauer, Fluent Communications and Magnolia Audio/Video.

Sunshine Committee meeting

The Public Records Exemptions Accountability Committee or “Sunshine Committee” will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28. The meeting will be in the House Legislative Building in Hearing Room C from 9 a.m. to noon. The Sunshine Committee is tasked with cleaning up exemptions from disclosure, which have grown over the years.
