Spencer's for Steaks and Chops

Spencer's for Steaks and Chops at the Hilton Seattle Airport Hotel hired Mark Linden as executive chef. Linden owned and operated a catering and personal culinary service based in Anchorage. He is the past president of the Alaska Culinary Association.

American Marine Bank

American Marine Bank hired Christian Shaw as a mortgage loan originator. Shaw will work at the Second Avenue location in Seattle. He worked at American Sterling Bank. American Marine Bank has 11 locations in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason counties, and in downtown Seattle.

Lane Powell

Lane Powell hired Joseph P. Corr as an associate attorney in the Railroad and Mass Transit Industry Group. Corr was an attorney with Williams Kastner & Gibbs.

ShoreBank Pacific

ShoreBank Pacific, a sustainable bank, moved its Portland office to the historic Telegram Building. The move reflects the bank's recent growth and continued commitment to sustainable community development. The Portland staff now totals 19, compared to seven employees five years ago.

Allstate Insurance

Allstate Insurance Co. opened a new agency in Seattle at 3220 Claremont Ave. S. It is owned and operated by Agent Khoa Dang and offers a complete line of products and services.

Weyerhaeuser

Federal Way-based Weyerhaeuser Co. promoted Thomas F. Gideon to executive vice president, forest products, and John A. Hooper to senior vice president, human resources. Gideon succeeds Richard E. Hanson, who is retiring. Hanson has been executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2003. Hooper succeeds Edward P. Rogel, who is also retiring and has led the human resources department since 2003.

Expeditors International

Expeditors International of Washington said Sandy K.Y. Liu, the company's chief operating officer-Asia, has tendered his resignation. Liu has been in the post for seven years, before which he spent 31 years with China Airlines, and was president of the airline. Expeditors is a global logistics based in Seattle.

King County Animal Care and Control

King County's Animal Care and Control Section hired Wendy Keller as acting manager and Tom Brown as assistant acting manager. Keller has worked with King County for 19 years and was recently the project control officer concentrating on construction and professional contract services. Brown has 30 years experience managing public safety operations. Al Dams, former acting manager, is now strategic planner and operational development manager for the Records and Licensing Division.

Revenue Science

Revenue Science of Seattle promoted Jeff Hirsch to president and chief executive officer. Hirsch had been president. He replaces Bill Gossman, who was CEO for five years and will remain on the board. Revenue Science works with behavioral targeting technology for digital media.

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County announced new staffing changes. The Resource Development Department hired Suzanne Hight to manage two major events, KidsAuction and KidsBreakfast. It promoted Rachel Doxtater to communications and public relations director, Angela Arzaga to communications assistant and Terry McKiel to resource development manager. The Human Resources Department hired Paris Ramsey as benefits manager and Tara Irvin as interim HR assistant and trainer. The Finance Department hired Judy Hademan as accounts payable coordinator.
