Eddie Bauer said Michael R. Egeck has been named president and CEO. He was CEO of Hurley International. David Chamberlain, who has served as interim CEO, will remain on the board of directors. Egeck also worked at VF Corp., The North Face and Columbia Sportswear.
The city of Seattle is seeking candidates for the Seattle Arts Commission, which advises the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, advocates for arts initiatives and approves funding to artists and organizations. Submit a letter of interest and resume to arts.culture@seattle.gov by June 29.
King County Workforce Development Council was awarded a $50,000 grant from the Butler Family Fund. The grant will help connect homeless people with training and employment assistance. The nonprofit is a think tank and grant-making organization.

Radio station 88.5 KPLU and Arizona-based Market Enginuity hired Bob Nordberg as director of sponsorship sales for KPLU and KING-FM. Nordberg worked as general sales manager for KNBQ/KFNK/KHHO (Clear Channel Seattle). 88.5 KPLU is a national public radio station. Market Enginuity provides outsourced underwriting sales departments and represents KPLU.
Seattle-based RockStar Motel said it has added features to its digital media platform that lets artists and fans run the music industry. Features let users create marketing channels and an interactive fan base. It was founded in 2010 by Luca Sacchetti, a former musician, with the goal of making the music industry more inclusive.

The Wenatchee Valley Visitors Bureau former executive director Roger Clute retired on May 15, 2012. Wendy LeSesne, director of convention marketing will serve as interim director until the board finds a successor. LeSesne worked as group sales manager prior to her position as director of convention and marketing at the Wenatchee Valley Visitors Bureau.
Portland law firm Garvey Schubert Barer attorney David Canary received a pro bono award of merit from the Multnomah Bar Association. Canary was nominated for more than 12 years of service to the Community Law Center and has focused his practice on legal and state income taxation for more than 25 years. Garvey Schubert Barer is a business law firm.
