Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality named Sasha Nosecchi as the firm's lifestyle and retail expert. Nosecchi joined Columbia Hospitality in July and previously was senior manager of guest services at Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. Columbia Hospitality is hospitality management and consulting firm.
Auburn-based Aero Control President and CEO John Titus received the South Seattle Community College outstanding alumni award for 2012. Titus graduated from South Seattle Community College in 1974 and is on the Aviation Technical Advisory Committee. He donates aviation equipment for classroom use. Aero Controls is an FAA-certified repair station that overhauls, repairs and sells aircraft components.
Northeastern University appointed Dr. Angela Walmsley as associate dean of its graduate campus in Seattle, due to open in January 2013 in South Lake Union. Walmsley was associate dean for graduate education and research in the College of Education and Public Service at Saint Louis University. Northeastern University-Seattle will offer 15 graduate degrees.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt named Troy Greenfield as partner in charge of the Seattle office of the regional law firm. He practices intellectual property, securities and bankruptcy/creditors' rights litigation. Greenfield previously was managing shareholder of Bullivant Houser Baily.
Jerome & Associates, a marketing firm, is now Jerome, Bruhn & Associates with expanded services in business planning, consultation and strategic marketing programs. Founders John Jerome and Karen Bruhn formed Jerome, Bruhn & Associates in 1998 to help position companies for growth, and then expanded into technology, marketing and business services.
Vulcan Real Estate said Cal's Classic American has opened a restaurant in South Lake Union. The tavern-style restaurant is on the northeast corner of Harrison and Terry. This is the second Cal's; the other is at Kent Station in Kent.

Seattle law firm Helsell Fetterman hired Cindy Huang and Jonathan Minear as associate attorneys. Huang has six years of experience in family law and divorce. Minear has four years of experience as a judicial clerk and associate. Helsell Fetterman is a full service law firm.
Seattle-based NanoString Technologies hired James Johnson as chief financial officer. Johnson has more than 20 years of life sciences financial expertise and recently served as CFO for Relypsa, a biopharmaceutical company. He also was executive vice president and CFO for ZymoGenetics. NanoString provides life science tools for research and development of molecular diagnostics.
The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine hired Dr. William Keppler as acting president to fill in for Dr. Michael Gaeta who is recovering from injuries in a motor vehicle accident in September. Keppler is the former president of the National College of Natural Medicine and professor emeritus at the College of Health Sciences at Florida International University. OCOM offers two degree programs: master or doctor of acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
