Roache

CenturyLink named Rob Roache as regional sales vice president for the Northwest. Roache has held various sales positions during his career at CenturyLink and has led several sales organizations in the southern U.S. CenturyLink is the third largest telecom company in the United States.

OneOcean

Seattle-based OneOcean hired Dr. Prasad Saripalli as chief technology officer and executive vice president. Saripalli was chief architect of the SmartCloud Enterprise Cloud Platform and solution leader at IBM. OneOcean makes the cloud-based ClipCard platform for managing big data.

Davis Wright Tremaine

Clayton Graham, senior associate at Davis Wright Tremain's Seattle office, was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of 2013 by the King County Bar Association. Davis Wright is a national law firm with nine offices and approximately 500 lawyers.

Amerigroup

Virginia-based Amerigroup said its Washington health plan has expanded to the Tri-Cities, now serving members in Benton and Franklin counties. Amerigroup Washington began operations in 2012, and is serving Medicaid members through Washington's Healthy Options Medicaid and Washington's Basic Health in 24 counties.

Gibberin

Kirkland-based Gibberin hired Gary R. Beyer as chief executive officer. Beyer held executive positions at Oracle, Compaq, HP and Boeing. Gibberin is a viral communications platform that enables people to connect with individuals and groups via spoken messages.

Overlake Medical Center

Bellevue-based Overlake Medical Center received two awards from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get With The Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award and a Hospital Safety Scores ‘A' rating by The Leapfrog Group. The nonprofit regional medical center has medical clinics throughout the Eastside.

AAOA Healthcare

Kirkland-based Affiliated Services LLC-AAOA Healthcare has been awarded United Advantage platinum status by UnitedHealthcare for 2013. AAOA Healthcare provides group insurance benefits and services to small and mid-size employers in the state. Agencies are scored on a variety of measures including client retention, and overall performance based on business volume and net growth. Patrick Chestnut is president and CEO of AAOA Healthcare.

Parallels

Renton-based Parallels hired Mauro Meanti as general manager and senior vice president of sales and marketing in the Cloud Service Provider Business Unit. Meanti was vice president for business strategy for Microsoft International. Parallels is a privately held virtualization technology company.

Ernst & Young

London-based Ernst & Young announced that Matthew Stover has re-joined the firm as an assurance partner in the Seattle office. Ernst & Young is a professional services organization that helps companies identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration named Giselle Saguid as the 2013 Washington State Veteran Small Business Champion. Saguid was program director of the Northwest Washington Women's Business Center and has worked with the Department of the Navy.
