Community and Technical Colleges

Crystal Donner was appointed to the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. Donner is president and CEO of Perteet, a transportation consulting firm, and has been a professional engineer for nearly 30 years. The nine-member board provides leadership for Washington's 34 public community and technical colleges. Donner replaces Shaunta Hyde.

Maven

Seattle-based Maven named Josh Jacobs president and executive chairman. Jacobs is a former Omnicom and Yahoo senior executive, and served as Maven's co-chair over the last year. Maven is an expert-driven group media network platform.

Solar Installers of Washington

Allison Arnold is the first executive director of Solar Installers of Washington, a solar trade association. Arnold has nearly a decade of experience, previously leading policy advocacy, marketing and communications for the U.S. solar business of Mitsubishi Electric. She also was a senior fellow for Seattle-based angel investment group E8, which targets clean technologies.

Cambia Grove

Julie Panek Anderson joined Cambia Grove as assistant director of programming. Anderson is leading an initiative that uses the health care community to solve system-wide health care challenges. She comes from Blue Shield of California. Cambia Grove is a health care-focused hub where Northwest innovators can develop solutions for the industry.

Seattle-based Cairncross & Hempelmann named Samantha Waltz a principal. Waltz is a member of the Corporate Finance and Business Transactions Group. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, formations and financing transactions. She joined the firm in 2010 after she graduated from Seattle University's School of Law.

UniBank

Simon Bai was appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer at Lynnwood-based UniBank. Bai comes from Puget Sound Bank, where he was vice president of financial reporting and analytics. He has held key roles in finance, accounting, strategic planning and operations over the last 20 years. UniBank is a wholly owned subsidiary of U&I Financial Corp.

Lamprecht has nearly 30 years of experience on tax matters, with a focus on state and local tax planning, compliance and research. Swartz was office managing director for Seattle. She provides tax planning and compliance services to high net worth individuals, family groups and closely held businesses.

In Blaine, Semiahmoo Resort named Teresa Winfield associate director of sales. Winfield has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, and was global sales director for Benchmark Hospitality International. She also has worked for MTM Luxury Lodging in Kirkland, Willows Lodge in Woodinville and The Edgewater in Seattle.
