Kristy Willis on July 31 will join blue collar staffing firm PeopleReady as senior vice president and chief sales officer. Willis has 26 years of executive leadership experience and is senior vice president of Adecco's Western Division in California. Tacoma-based PeopleReady, a TrueBlue company, was founded nearly 30 years ago as Labor Ready.
Seattle law firm Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson hired Mark Morgan as an associate in the commercial litigation group. Morgan also practices in creditors' rights and bankruptcy, employment and labor, and real estate law. He was a clerk for Judge James R. Verellen on the Washington State Court of Appeals.
LabConnect, a Seattle-based provider of central laboratory and support services, promoted Barry Simms to COO, Trenton Harris to executive vice president and Elizabeth Koury to vice president of scientific affairs. Simms began his career over 18 years ago as a clinical research associate. Harris has over 20 years of clinical trials experience, including a stint as a senior executive in drug development for Covance. Koury joined LabConnect in 2012 following more than 15 years of research on neuroscience, oncology and immunology.
Venture capital firm Madrona Venture Group named Micah Baldwin executive director of its innovation center, which will open later this summer. Baldwin comes from Amazon, where he was senior business development and product manager for AWS Connections, a program that helps startup companies. The innovation center will be below Madrona's office in downtown Seattle, with space for founders and teams to collaborate.

Attorney Natalie Reber was hired as executive director at Family Law CASA. Reber has over 15 years of experience as an executive director, most recently with Hospitality House, an emergency shelter for single homeless women. Seattle-based Family Law Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a nonprofit that focuses on the needs of children in high-risk custody cases.
Spectra Venue Management, operator of Angel of the Winds Arena, appointed Corey Margolis as general manager of the facility. Margolis relocated to Everett from Spectra's Budweiser Gardens in Ontario, Canada, where he was assistant general manager. He started his career as a stage hand and audio engineer while attending the University of Southern California.
Stein Kruse is joining the board of directors of Seattle-based Auction of Washington Wines. Kruse is group CEO of Holland America Group and Carnival UK in Seattle. AWW holds several wine-themed charity events a year to benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children's.

International business management and accounting firm KLBM relocated its headquarters from Los Angeles to Seattle. The new office is at 520 Occidental Ave. S. in Pioneer Square. Many of KLBM's clients are athletes, musicians and entertainers. Kristin Lee, KLBM founder and managing director, said Seattle was picked because it's a growing destination for entertainment businesses and “one of the great music cities of the world.” The company maintains an office in Los Angeles.
Skilljar, a Seattle-based online training software provider, hired Samuel Sunderaraj as vice president of sales. Sunderaraj has 20 years of experience in technology sales at firms such as ExtraHop Networks, LiveStories, Limelight Networks and Simply Measured.
Portland-based Oregon BEST has changed its name to VertueLab. The 10-year-old nonprofit helps clean-tech startups get products to market, and is expanding to raise investment funds for companies. VertueLab is also offering more support services to startups, such as mentoring, access to funders, funding for prototypes, R&D grant application assistance and connections to university experts.
