eCityGov Alliance

Running Deer

Tyler Running Deer is the new executive director of eCityGov Alliance, a nonprofit formed by cities in the Puget Sound region. Running Deer has worked in the tech sector for over 30 years, most recently as client services director in the Information Technology Department for the city of Seattle. The Bellevue-based alliance provides online services to the public. Its most popular application is MyBuildingPermit.

Randall Hopkins is the new general manager of talent services at Prime 8 Consulting in Bellevue. Hopkins has over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and talent services, including stints as COO and managing director at several boutique agencies that specialize in contract and direct placement talent.

Perkins Coie

KoKo Ye Huang joined Perkins Coie's International Transactions & Trade practice as a partner in Seattle. Huang counsels on employment-based immigration matters, including advising employers on disclosure and documentation requirements. She also assists employers with securing work authorization for foreign national employees. She was a principal in Jackson Lewis' Seattle office.

Freestone Capital Management

In Seattle, Freestone Capital Management is accepting applications for the Freestone Future Leaders Scholarship, which awards five college-bound or undergraduate students a $5,000 scholarship for the fall 2019-2020 school term. City of Bellevue

Gerla

Kathy Gerla is the new city attorney in Bellevue. Gerla has over 30 years of legal experience in the public and private sectors. She was a senior deputy for seven years in King County Prosecutor's Office and spent 17 years in the state Attorney General's Office. She replaces Lori Riordan, who retired in October.

DeLille Cellars

In Woodinville, DeLille Cellars promoted Jason Gorski from winemaker to director of winemaking and viticulture. Prior to DeLille, Gorski worked at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville and Spring Valley Vineyard in Walla Walla. He replaces Chris Upchurch, who remains as co-president, partner and founding winemaker. The winery is moving into the former Redhook Brewery space this month and will build a three-story tasting room and retail tower that will open in late summer.

Green Sports Alliance

In Portland, Green Sports Alliance has six new board members: Elaine Aye, associate regional manager at RWDI; Dune Ives, executive director of Lonely Whale; Kunal Merchant, managing director of Lotus Advisory; Jill Savery, founder and CEO of Bristlecone Strategies; Cyrus Wadia, former vice president of sustainable business and innovation at Nike; and Jamie Zaninovich, deputy commissioner and COO of the Pac-12 Conference. Green Sports Alliance uses sports to promote healthy, sustainable communities.

Filter

Dentsu Aegis Network acquired Filter, a design and digital marketing company in Seattle with an office in Portland. The acquisition makes Filter part of Merkle Co., a marketing agency in London-based Dentsu Aegis Network. Filter's management team of Joe Melanson, Kristin Knight and Terry Harnisch continue to lead the company. Merkle is based in Columbia, Maryland.
