SEATTLE -- King County Executive Ron Sims has appointed Sam Pailca manager of the Labor Relations Division of the Office of Human Resource Management.
Pailca has worked in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office since 1994, as the supervising attorney and senior deputy prosecutor in the employment law section. A Queen Anne resident, she graduated from Washington State University and the University of Washington School of Law.
Sims said that Pailca will be dealing with labor policy and negotiation activities, as well as compliance with labor and employment laws. She will begin her new job Sept. 7.
