Altering the microtunnel path for a pipeline below the Snoqualmie River allowed the pipe to be installed before a fish-related construction moratorium set in. |
In order to move more water from the Tolt River to the Lake Forest Park Reservoir, and eventually to Seattle homes, the city of Seattle had to lay 6 miles of new pipes that are nearly 7 feet in diameter and made of steel.
