$50M bio-energy plant nearly ready

  • When commissioning is finished next month, the Maple Valley facility will be the first of its kind to turn landfill gas into natural gas, according to the developer.

    The bio-energy facility took six months to build.

    WHEN INGENCO began building the first-of-its-kind bio-energy plant in Maple Valley in July of 2008, the project team wanted to have gas flowing by Thanksgiving. And, when the general contractor began looking at the project, only 60 percent of the design was done.
