Trillium hires new CFO

Robert G. Wolfe has just accepted the position of chief financial officer with the Trillium Corporation. He joins Chairman David Syre, President Steve Brinn and Chief Executive Officer Erik Anderson on the Executive Committee. Wolfe brings a wide variety of top level international banking experience, most recently as executive director and vice president with Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, London, Tokyo and New York. At those financial centers he was responsible for overseeing investment banking decisions for major European, Asian, and North American financial institutions. He was also president and CEO of Capital Savings Bank in Olympia, and vice president of Merrill Lynch in New York.

Bay Colony, a finalist for builders award

Bay Colony, a 78 home condominium community in Dupont, received two gold and six silver awards as a finalist in the prestigious MAME awards, including best townhome or duplex, community of the year, and best marketing. Sponsored by the Master Builder's Association of King and Snohomish Counties, the award recognized the quality finish work and spacious designs of the homes at Bay Colony, as well as the project's success in appealing to all markets of home buyers, who want care-free living without sacrificing style and amentities. Less than one year after opening, almost 60% of homs have been sold and occupied in the community built and developed by Carino Homes of Univeristy Place. Coaching concept available for real estate agents A new system, Cross Coaching, by local realtor Carla Cross, has just garnered endorsement by the Managers' Council (CRB), National Association of Realtors, as best of its kind. The program consists of a complete system oriented handbook, and three audio tapes, explaining the program. The concept of coaching has entered the real estate field to better train agents in customer satisfaction and successful sales. Cross created this program to fill the void between formal, traditional training programs and the 'real world'. Free five hour homebuyer education seminars

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission is offering free five hour homebuyer education seminars, which provide training to all interested persons about the process of purchasing a home, and are taught by certified instructors. The seminars provide information for all prospective homebuyers and include tips on selecting the right loan product, household budgeting, home maintenance, types of assistance programs available to first-time homebuyers, default prevention, and general lending practices. The seminars are conducted in cooperation with lenders throughout the state who participate in Commission programs. Free workbooks and materials are provided through an agreement with local private mortgage insurance companies. Wallace Properties

Ross Chambers has joined Wallace Properties, Inc. as a broker specializing in corporate office leasing and investing sales. He was formerly Manager of Major Investor Development for the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, and has extensive background in real estate marketing and leasing.

Windermere

Lori Davis has joined the Bellevue-South office. Davis has nine years experience in real estate. Debbie Smith, new to real estate, has joined the Oak Tree office. Kathrin Faulkner, also new to real estate, joins the Windermere-Wall Street office.

Continental Savings Bank

Continental Savings Bank announced that John Abplanalp has joined the company to manage its new Performance Lending Center, which will be responsible for introducing new mortgage loan products and handling refinancing of home loans. In addition, Tom Allison has joined the company as a home loan consultant in the new center. Abplanalp has 21 years of banking experience and most recently served as manager of Washington Federal Savings' Wedgewood branch. Allison most recently served in retail management. Prior to that, he served as a loan officer at First Interstate. His background also includies positions as an assistant branch manager at University Savings Bank and branch manager for Seafirst Bank.

Bernhardt honored

Bob Bernhardt, of Coldwell Banker Whitfield-Bernhardt, Inc. Realtors, Vancouver, WA, has been named amoung the top "Mega Brokers of the Northwest" by Unique Homes, the National Magazine of Luxury Real Estate. As a recipient of this honor, he will be featured with 9 others in the Oct/Nov issue of Unique Homes.

Cec Gogal has joined Seattle Mortgage Company, Alderwood Branch as a mortgage banker. Gogal, formerly with Northwest/Directors Mortgage, has five years experience in mortgage lending.
