HCI

HCI Steel Building Systems of Arlington has appointed Kirby Tiller as a project manager for its West Coast operations. Tiller relocated from Knoxville, Tenn., and has many years of experience in the metal building industry. HCI is a manufacturer and designer of pre-engineered building systems. It is currently expanding its builder base in the U.S., Canada and the Pacific Rim.

Christenson Electric

Portland-based Christenson Electric has acquired Philips Electric of Eugene, Ore. The move has created a unified company offering telecommunications, low-voltage technical, lighting and residential with commercial, institutional and industrial services. Philips Electric was founded by Nathan Philips in 1980. Philips is serving as general manager and the Philips Electric name remains the same. Also, all 60 Philips employees continue to work for the company. The merger gives 55-year-old Christenson Electric a presence in the Eugene market and added expertise in low-voltage fire alarm and access control systems. Christenson provides a full range of electrical service and construction in to customers in Oregon, Washington and California.

Paul Davis Restoration

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Paul Davis Restoration has opened a new Seattle branch office. The company provides loss mitigation, restoration and reconstruction services. The new branch specializes in fire and water damage mitigation and restoration services. It is being headed up by industry veteran Doug Anderson and is serving the greater west King County area. The office is located at 12250 Greenwood Ave. N., Seattle, (206) 364-3000.
